    thanks scaredy.

maybe i should just get a bike... duno. not many places to cycle "safely" here i dont think. plus last 2 times i was on a pushbike i fractured both wrists and almost cracked my pelvis / gave myself internal bleeding.

i am a fast walker, so can only keep doing that at lunch time - maybe start walking to work too (only 2 miles) -- just dont want to put up with these sore shins every time i walk or whatever.

    Doomy.....step away from the bike.

From the runners thread, start of with the brisk walking, which you have done, then when you go for a run, run as far as you can, then walk the rest of the way.
Idea being that as time goes on, you will be able to run further.

Glad you have made a decision that is right for you Spud :)

It was the only decision really Beanie. As soon as it started to affect the kids, it became time to rethink ;)

For the last hour, I've been getting a really strong smell of perfume, yet I'm here on my own, the kids are in bed. Very strange
