How are you snags? How's poorly Ryan??

Ryan seems a bit better thanks hunny, hasn't been sick all afternoon and managed potato waffles and beans for tea.

I'm feeling a bit pants to be honest but I've managed to accomplish a *bit* of something today, which is better than I've managed all weekend.

Determined to shake this off - need to go for a run really but I can't till Wednesday. Need to make sure it's a full 5k though otherwise I'll be struggling in a fortnight. I refuse to give in to the downward spiral.

Glad he is feeling a bit better..and you have achieved something however little, don't put down yourself down!

You will do that 5k on wednesday...can you plan a nice flat route even if you have to walk a mile to get there and a mile to get back?? Will boost your confidence.

Wonder how Maz has got on doing her 5.5 mile run tonight in the pouring rain and gale force winds.

Are you on a running high now Maz?? Oh watched the final bit of BL...I can't believe who won, but it was quite obvious as soon as you saw the person in question! As for Gerry and Stella  He looked almost too thin!

Turning 40 freaks me out a bit, turning 20 seems, well, not too many years ago. So before I know it i'll be 60 and once you get there it's all looking forward to a gradual decomposition :D

Doomcow, I'm not a runner but from what i've gathered when the others are talking, you should start by walking fast and build up to running. Your shins hurt cos you've developed shin splints.

    Well done on 1k anyway - i can't run 100 yrds!!
