Grateful ~ well done on the job
Toochoosey ~ I hope you didn't think I was implying you were skiving:o...I know you were busy with other stuff....it's just that I had an unusually productive three quarters of an hour, and was putting it down to your mental skills!
Tag ~ sounds like you have done a great job on kitting out your new house.
Mudbath ~ really hope you have found your keys....I inherited my mothers ability to lose or think I have lost my keys on a regular basis, one of my friends always prays to St Anthony ( patron saint of lost things) in this situation....I'm giving it a try for you.
Rosepink ~ sounds like you are being very sensible about managing your illness, I had to make a similar decision but for different reasons several years ago....didn't envisage myself as being a stay at home wife and mother, but it's actually been very rewarding for all of us.
Off to wash up now, as my dishwasher is feeling choosey this evening....0 -
Aww thanks Lily Sue. My dishwasher is also pretty temperamental. Got a Zanussi?????Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

Hello :hello:
Just popping in quickly to say hi. I get the keys to my new house tomorrow:j So I is very excited. Still got loads to get to go in it. But how's this for kitting out a house MSE style.........
I've managed to get a 2 and 3 seater leather sofas for free. A dining table and 4 chairs for free. Brand new double mattress for free. Single pine bed and mattress for £25. Washing machine on ebay for £10. Fridge for £20 and then someone else comes up with a fridge freezer for me for nothing. Still I have it as a back up I suppose or I could use it as a party drinks fridge:p;):D And, the girls at work have given me some crockery and cups etc.
So we have something to eat off, somewhere to sit and somewhere to sleep:j I've told DD it'll be like we're camping for a few days which appears to have gone down very well.;)
Del boy eat your heart out!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:
Love and hugs to all. Will pop in again when I can!! TTFN xxx
Well done you!
I'm ashamed to say the jammies are still in my LR:o:o Would you like me to send them to your old address or new?

Evening ladies.
Just a quick one from me again as i have a bit of work still to do for school tomorrow and my head is already crying out for my bed.
toots lovely to see you back posting. Must mean you are feeling loads better.
grateful i am so pleased for you. I am genuinely thinking of leaving the game altogether at the minute as i am fed up of the poop. I got my predicted inadequate lesson observation, and there is also talk of teaching AS and A2 kids in the same room at the same time, and losing one of our science technicians to make the books balance better. I am already stretched to my absolute limit and if my best is nowhere near good enough, it makes you think if it is worth it. I'm glad your change is making you happier. I'm thinking better the devil i know in my case.
rosepink sounds like the sicknote was a good idea in your case. I've been there and done that, and it takes so much pressure off to help you sort yourself out, and make some decisions where you want and need to be.
jo i don't really know you that well, but i do know pigpen well, and i think the tone of her message has been picked up very harshly by you when she probably didn't mean to be as harsh if you see what i mean. I think she was really only doing it because stuff like that can get people banned from the forums or put the thread at jeapordy. I don't want to get in the middle of it all, i just wanted to say don't feel like you have to leave the thread over a minor disagreement.
Anyway, back to the grindstone for me, as well as the work i have to rescue my undies from the TD so i don't have to go to work in my best stuff again tomorrow, hang some clothes on the airer, put a load of flannels and towels in the TD and try to have a bath. DH has been a star and cleaned the guttering out since coming in from work as they were overflowing, and i need to remind him to empty the kitchen bin and put the wheelie bin out for in the morning.
It never stops does it.
Bye,
Michelle x0 -
Evening everyone.
Thursday Thrills - Bathroom and Study.. QUILLION DONE
Went to see mum this morning and she is fine. She will get a surprise next week as DD is doing 10 weeks training there on domestic duties.
Then went and did my meet and greet. Tonight Ive put some chicken in the fridge to marinade. Done one load of washing. Been to Asda for stuff to make a curry. Emptied kitchen bin.
Toots I love my new suite and Jake has been very good and only sat on it once. DD is much better and the swelling has gone down. They were not sure what the problem was. Look after yourself. Big hugs.
Abbie hugs and prayers for you. your Dad and your family.
g&b Well done for getting all your exams finished.
gratefulforhelp Congrats on the new job.

Hi Flygang,
I'm still here honest! Work has been hellish this week so only fluttering so far but hope for a big catch up tomorrow.
I've managed dailies (just) and thrown out some washing onto the line today - but have taken recycling to the tip twice.
So watch out for some HHC's in the morning - I'll need company to get there...
Now off to flop into bed, I'm pooped
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0
