Mudbath Well done honey for organising that. What about your car etc xx
That's brilliant Quillion! I've sent it on to the guys at work to destress them a bit tomorrow...
Mudbath - I'm glad you decided to sort the locks on. Make sure you bolt doors, lock windows etc, and that sheds/cars etc are secure too. Bet your house is tidy though0 -
Glad i made you laugh mudders. I'm sitting here sniggering to myself - i'm so childish. I have this vision of your hubby walking into the room while you're shaking stripes -"Just looking for my keys darling":rotfl:
I'll get my coat...The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Sorry, got taken over by a fit of the giggles there:o
Glad you got the locks changed - definately better safe than sorry. What about the car keys? This is why i keep my car and house keys separate, i'm such a clutz and if i lose a set i havent lost them all!The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
My house is spotless! No hotspots! It wasn't my car key that got taken....it was my dads!!!!!!! Bit worried about what that's going to cost to replace. I had his key even though his car is at his house (a mile away) because he's not driving it and I was taking him shopping / out once a week. He's got a spare but he's the sort of person who likes to have two keys. At least his car is safe in is garage a mile away! I half want the thieving little toe rags to come back and get a surprise when they can't get in....actually, no I don't!
(watch me find the keys tomorrow!!!) xx0 -
Toochoosey ~ so glad you didn't take me seriously:D...I just worry sometimes about communicating on the internet, I think sometimes it's easy to get the wrong end of the stick.
Didn't know you were learning Welsh...we rented a cottage near Carmarthen two years ago, first time any of us had been to Wales...it was brilliant, several times when I was in the local shops people came up to me and spoke to me in Welsh.....I really wished I had known just a few words to reply with.
Mudbath ~ sorry you had to get the locks changed, but I think you did the wise thing ( and it's definitely put me off praying to saints, always thought it was best to go for the direct line to God!)
Goodnight to you all, dh wants his turn on the computer, and I'm off to bed..............0 -
No probs LilySue, though I understand what you're saying, When I first joined Pigpen scared me stiff, though I am paranoid, she's lovely really, aren't you, Pigpen???(Your Royal Highness.( curtsies out of the room......))0

G&B - you are a tonic! We've just had the discussion about keeping keys separate. Then if you lose them you only lose one lot! Thanks for everyone's kindness .... jeez...I need to lie in a darkened room!
My house is soooooooooooo tidy {said in a smug voice} :rotfl:xx0
