Mudders - ok calm down honey - sit down and try very hard to recall what you actually did when you last had the keys - if you have looked in all the logical places then look in all the odd/stupid places.
Could they have been kicked under a chair or a table?
Are they in the cupboard with the coffee?
In the fridge?
By the telephone?
Down the side of a cushion where you were sitting?
You will need to methodically look everywhere in every room.
You could try praying to St Anthony asking him to help you find them - it works for me - the next place I look its there - and often I have been there already!

I dont think Stripes will have eaten them - unless you really are starving her!!! Are they in her bed?
What about wrapped up in the wet towells?
Or in the washing basket or washing machine?
Peace will be mine

apparently my glasses are fixed but cba to into town yet again to collect them. will go tmrw when i pick up the kids

lots of freecycle answers - even for the double bed
need to pack everything nice and close to the door so they can take it away easily!
• Thanks Serena Quillion and Toots its just a job teaching in a different school.
I love the kids and most of the staff at my school, but management are bonkers, so I now have escaped!

Rosepink God Bless, sounds like you are being very pragmatic. Do you have an exercise strategy? In my experience it is the best bet against the Black Dog, if that's what you suffer with. Kisses.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Mudbath yes of course a dog could eat keys. Mine ate shoes, remote controls, and carpets, not to mention net curtains and the knob off the butter dish!

Twas I, grateful!

Take the number of corpses and multiply by Mrs Barnaby's lines. Never ever in three figures!
.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
What if you then add the number of fox barks multiplied by owl hoots?

Welcome Noapron

Well done on finishing your exams GnB

Abbie hope your dad is ok

Justamum, I’ve had an endoscopy and it’s not actually that bad. You have to starve before hand, and then they knock you out (you can have a local or general anaesthetic – general is best IMHO) and they look after you really well. And they gave me a sandwich and a biscuit when I woke up! Hope it goes well for your DH and that his ulcer is ok and his neuralgia gets better soon

Miss A, thank you for doing the card for Toots, you are a little sweetheart

Hugs Bevan

Mudbath hope you find your keys soon. After reading Carol's  story, changing the locks sounds like a very good idea, and be careful that they don't steal your car in the night if your car keys were on the same keyring. It's quite a common thing these days, apparently people break in, steal car keys, and take the car and you don't know about it til you get up in the morning. It's why they tell you not to keep car keys near the front door, as they also fish through the letter box and get the keys that way. Have you got a garage you can lock the car in, or move it so it's far away from your house tonight?

Grateful, congrats on the job ETA: I am trying (and failing) to exercise more, but will be working even harder on this now. Really need to get fitter and as you say its fab for the Black Dog

When I was at my friend’s house today I saw her kittens! Her cat had four kittens a week ago, which was a bit of a surprise to my friend as she didn’t realise her cat was expecting until a few days before the birth! They are sooooo cute! I’m going in over the weekend to feed the cat so will try to take pictures. One is a Felix cat, 2 are tabby and one is stripy! Little tiny bundles of fluff! Their eyes are starting to open now

Flying: tomorrow I plan to do major washing up, have completely run out of glasses. Had to make DH a drink in a jug.

• Thanks Rosepink and Juliejim.

Rosepink what does ETA mean?! I don't know about owl hoots and fox barks, but frankly John Nettles has made a living out of being v. h@$%ny and pretending he's a detective. Nice work!!!!
