    Hi guys

    Welcome back soappie :hello:

What a lovely day it is. Hung out my bed sheets on the line and my work stuff for tomorrow, have to work cause I have windows to pay for lol every penny helps at the minute.

Just got back from a lovely couple of hours with lil_me and her lovely DS's, and I also met little Matthew and his mum - what a smasher he is, he loved the train ride as did lil_me's DS's. I really enjoyed it and am already looking forward to a meet up again.

Utility to paint now, one more coat on the floor and it's done yay! WM is in full flow, the cat is causing havoc somewhere and the house has been dailied.

    Afternoon

Still feeling so tired and a bit earachey and sore throaty so I'm not doing much today. Need to prep dinner and make a cake but apart from that just a bit of sorting in the family room. I have a necklace I broke a few weeks a go so I may sit and re thread that.

Well I had a list of things I needed to do today, but just had a call from a friend inviting me to go for a walk this afternoon.
Well of course it would have been rude to refuse wouldn't it ;)

DD's just been round and has taken the dog for a walk over the park. she also rifled through my 'posh stuff' drawer and has borrowed a shawl. She's off to Glyndebourne with her bloke and his parents this week sometime so needed one to go with her frock. she also painted my toenails for me - first paint of the season! :D

I'm a bit dopey this morning afternoon and thought you meant the dog had been riffling through your posh stuff drawer!

I woke up at 10am after a really bad night’s sleep, got up had breakfast and then went back to bed! Am up again now, still feel really tired and have a headache. Tim has gone to the Kingdom Hall without me, and he’s going to feed the cat on the way. I feel weird, can’t think – my brain is mush. I have a feeling ice cream will help so will try it

Princess Jane, while your OH is away at his parents you need to ring him every day with a mission: day 1. eat her muffin. Day 2. use her razor. day 3. use her perfume. Day 4. Accidentally borrow and tear an expensive piece of clothing. I will leave the other days for you to think up missions. If he doesn’t want to smell or look like a woman he could just bring her perfume home for you to use, or pour some down the loo or something!

Valli, did you actually go to bed last night?

    Penny, nice sausages

Crafty, I know exactly what you mean

Rach, your walk along the Thames Path sounds good

Ok HHICE (half hour ice cream eating) here I come!

I went waaaay over HHC but that's fine as we're 'bottoming out' as my gran would say today!

DH is making good progress in the lounge, though he seems to do it in a weird order imho! I've cillit banged and scrubbed the tiles and taps to death, scrubbed the metal thing that holds shampoo etc, washed up, done some hand washing and am currently soaking the shower curtain. I hate the inbetween bit when everything's in a mess!

Back to it til lunchtime I guess. will update list later.

    Thanks Rose

Rach - I'm gutting my house as I like to call it. We've been here exactly a year now and when we moved in didn't have time to sort thru everything!

Now with baby on the way we need to sort OH's crap out as he has sooooo much stuff. Need his hlep with moving big things though so just plodding along for now!
