toots - no, haven't had it yet but not sure if they will check my references first. I am going to chase HR on Tuesday as I need to hand my notice in before my holiday. The HR dept aren't known for their speediness I have to say...but I know one of the women a bit so I'll phone her.

flying - I have just decluttered the rest of the prawn crackers from last night!

Dh seems to have just got up so we might get on soon!

I'm so mad with myself...last sunday we had roast chicken. I bought a large one and despite using it for 2 meals we still only ate the breast meat. But I've just realised I forgot to freeze the rest of it. I guess it's too late to use it now...Grrr I hate wastage!

Where was greenbee yesterday? thats not like her.xx

Haircut, shopping (I now have a posh hat for my brother's wedding, 20% discount, so had to make the decision - no outfit yet as I still need to lose weight :o), farm shop, laundry, washing up, lunch, a bit of weeding. Was feeling very lethargic, so it was lucky my brother came over to pick up some books (actually, I worked out afterwards that his real motive was to borrow my food processor, which is now in the DW ) and we went for a walk. Then went to the supermarket (why ), read, had supper, went to bed early.

I meant to get up early today and go for a swim etc, but somehow didn't manage it.

I need to walk into the village to get a paper (it's jobs day in the sunday times), then potter around gardening/flying/washing. As the weather is nice I'll try to spend most of the day outside rather than on here :rotfl:and have another decent walk when it starts to cool down this evening.

Visualisation - if we can agree a time (toots has to be resting, and the rest of us need 10 minutes to concentrate). Its a simple as visualising her tumour and imagining it being bathed in white light and slowly dissolving until there is nothing left. This may sound a bit strange toots, but when you think about it, does it have a colour? If so, we can add that in.

    Well done rach :T:T

OK breakfasted, washed, dressed, WM on, grass cut (so I can put the whirly up) plus a chat with a friend who phoned unexpectedly.

Now on a coffee break. Think I need to go for milk.

Wish the sun would come out properly.

    Thanks for my stars Quillion

Morning all. Toots hope you are ok and didn't wear yourself out in your HHC?

ETA just read last night's posts. valli that was a fab 4000th.Would love to know what you were fishing for!

I think if toots becomes a buddhist, she will have to have a really really big declutter, but I suspect she lacks the equipment to be a monk!

I'm thinking that telling ourselves we are carp and should do better is counterproductive, and slows our progress down? Hard to stop of course.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

    Morning all

Lovely day here, warm and sunny. One load of washing out and it's nearly dry.

Roast dinner roasting. DD2 is coming for dinner and then we're going out to look for pots and plants for her garden. She's just put down three tons of gravel (it's small and shady) and needs some colour out there.

I got myself some tobacco plants yesterday and put them in so hopefully they will smell nice in a few weeks. If I see some more bedding plants I like this afternoon I'll get them too. I replanted both the borders last summer but although the plants are coming on well there are a few gaps so some annuals would be good this year.

    Hope everyone's OK.

Too right... focus on achievements. I have a feeling Pigpen made us all write a list of our good points at one stage. Something we should all think about regularly.

Those who have sunshine, please get out in it today, even if it's just a walk to the end of the road or sitting in the sun with a drink. It will do you good. The inside stuff can wait! (Obviously make sure you don't get sunburn!)

    Morning all

Still not caught up with the thread but the couple of things I did spot was :

    Rach: Congrats on the job

Valli - Only 4,000 surely it must be more like 40,000 :p:rotfl::rotfl:

Wash load 2 of 3 in as I've decided to make the most of the nice weather and wash the coats :D

Not doing much other than studying today and DD is "cooking" tea (Fish & salad ;))

Off to check email and to get my stuff sorted out to do my assignment
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
