    Morning lovelies,
looks like all the sensible peeps are still in bed!

Now stop hogging all the sunshine - i want some too.

    And ditto crafty's post
My problem is no self-discipline. I know what I want to do but my inner lazy sod sabotages me every time. Pathetic or what?
But then I read what other people achieve with major things to cope with and feel even more embarrassed.
    thats exactly how I feel.

But I am going to try to overcome this and be grateful for what I have done and strive to do better.

Where was greenbee yesterday? thats not like her.

Oh and please kick me if I am still on here after 11pm - I realise that partly why i was moaning last night was because i was tired -I should know better - and I am still recovering so earlier bedtimes might help!!!

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Ok, just found and edited my list and it is looking quite long now, but hopefully OH will help me with some of the things when he gets home from Bisley.

    Morning all

I've not managed to get on most of this week :( Don't think I'll manage to catch up.

It's a lovely day here too, yesterday was gorgeous...we were up and off first thing and walked a 16 mile stretch of the thames path. I found it hard work in the heat, after we've not done a decent distance for a while, but I'm really glad we did it now (despite being rather stiff this morning!!).

Our plan for today is to do a bit of a deep clean, DH is really keen so I'm not going to disagree! He will do all the bits I can't reach or never manage. I imagine we'll tick most things off the list therefore, but I'll let you know later!

Very true Valli - and your previous post. Thank you for them both.

My problem is no self-discipline. I know what I want to do but my inner lazy sod sabotages me every time. Pathetic or what?
But then I read what other people achieve with major things to cope with and feel even more embarrassed.
(And that's really the sort of confession one should only make in the middle of the night)
I got one of them Crafty;)
there are times I get down and wonder what life has ahead for me, but then I look at what some others on here have to put up with (and four flyladies spring immediately to mind tbh) and I realise I am, in fact, lucky...

Now are we all meeting up at Pen's for sausage butties? Brown on mine please :rotfl: can I bring my new friend? He'll like the leeks being a yokel :rotfl:

Actually - it's not that far away ;)
I was being discreet as to your location...

I have pegged out washing and washed the (cotton) bathmat as it's so nice it won't take two days to dry...I have ironed, made my bed, moaned at DS (like to keep my hand in in case a future Mr Valli ever rolls up LOL) and am about to go out into Valliland to plant my baby cabbages and lettuces...

    Good morning everyone.

A beautiful day here just hope it stays that way. Im just going to do my usual weekend thing today and do a bit in each room. Will have a look at the weekend list. Need to get a bit of shopping then go see mum. Will take her to the park which she loves. Then its DDs for a cuppa and will come back via the country park. A 4 mile walk all round.

    many thanks Boddy
(actually re-reading it in the cold light of day I feel reasonably pleased with it...especially as I was playing ping-pong on another thread at the same time - though the 'fish' I was trying to catch didn't strike...)

Morning all - boys and OH dispatched to cricket training.

I still feel so tired despite another full nights sleep, very odd, don't feel ill just tired.

I've tried to rescue the kitchen but without much luck.

I need to pick DS2 up at 11:00 and take him to a carboot where my Mum and sister are. He has 2 boxes of stuff - bits and pieces to try to sell and he can keep the money.

Other than that I just want to get some gardening done but I need my get up and go to come back first.

    How did you do SexyM?

    I achieved the following:
    • Watered veggies
    • Erected parasol in garden in anticipation of sitting out there a bit in a while
    • Got beef out of freezer to defrost for tonight
    • Went bin diving to kill the smoke detector that got put in the bin whilst I was away because it kept beeping. (It's one where you can't change the battery). It set up beeping in the dustbin! It wasn't a pleasant job - what with all that cat litter etc. in there. Battery properly disconnected now and hands thoroughly scrubbed!
    • Took in one line of dry washing, put another load out and another load in the WM
    • Filled dishwasher with DWable pots and hand washed up nonDW pots
    • Made cup of tea
The last I am now drinking! I am about to take it into the garden with a pen and paper and a list and work on something for Toots ;)
