Design your own birthday/Yule/other celebration cards on the PC.
I did all our wedding stationery usinf Microsoft Publisher.
You can be as creative as your imagination allows, you get stuff you'd not find in the shops, and you can personalise it if you want.
I also do our annual kitchen calendars on Publisher, using holiday photos taken with the digital camera for the pictures.
Thanks LameWolf, I didn't even know I had Publisher on my home pc until your post prompted me to look for it!some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it

Dejunk the house by either selling in the free ads, putting on ebay or amazon or just giving it away via freecycle. Which ever way its great to get rid of the crap and I feel cleansed for doing it :-)0

We volunteer as dog walkers at our local RSPCA dogs home. Its very easy to register, and its great fun to pick up a dog who might not otherwise get any exercise and take them for a nice long walk (and great exercise for yourself too).0

May I also suggest the Cinnamon Trust for volunteer dog walking. You do have to have ome commitment as you walk for a local elderly person who cannot walk the dog themselves and you might get roped into taking to the vet etc, but aswell as helping the animal you become a useful and valued contact for the person too, so two lives improved very quickly.:D0 -
OH and me had a rare trip out to the cinema on Tuesday night and were horrified to find that it was £7 each for our tickets and £5 for some pick and mix (we didn't get that much, honestly
)
Other than the tv/dvd's what sort of things can you think of for fun on a budget...especially for the many many nights when we're stuck in (we have a toddler):rolleyes:0 -
We have our mobiles through Orange so always go to the cinema on Orange Wednesday. When we had a toddler, we would have a dinner with cndles, etc when he was sleeping.GC 2011 Feb £626.89/£450 NSD3/7 March £531.26/£450 April £495.99/£500 NSD 0/7 May £502.79/£500

If you like popcorn you can buy kernals and pop your own for a few pennies. Get your own sweets/snacks and enjoy a movie at home instead. It's so expensive to go the movies isn't it?Boots Card - £17.53, Nectar Points - £15.06 - *Saving for Chrimbo*2015 Savings Fund - £2575.000
