  • Didn't quite make it into £74K, I have but not on paper as the last couple of payments didn't get into until after the end of the month!
I don't think I'm going to realise my ambition of £73 by the end of the year as I think I'm going to have to have a break from the last couple of months this year, even with my community tax refund theres a couple of unexpected bills come in, so I think unless I want to run up some debts which won't help I need to put some of the extra money towards them, I've also commited myself with the little one to raise £1024 from nothin, which I would have loved to put towards mortgage. However you won't get rid of me I may be making the odd (little) payment and will keep up with how you're all going and come back renewed next year!
  • Just in case I sound a bit negative above! on the 1st october I owed 78,988.79 and on 1st Nov 75,116.43 so prettey pleased with that at the start of the year it was 84,585.83 a difference of £9469.40. With the payments already sent in that didn't make this statement I may have edged it up to £10,000 paid off by the end of the year, so a great experiment for the pig as I only started in March!
Just don't want to end up mortgage free by owing money on cards!

wow, fabulous achievement in such a small space of time! You certainly deserve some time out to recouperate. I think we all will be finding the next couple of months tough, with christmas etc, but 2007 will be the year mortgage pigs take over the world!!

Those are goals set by yourself.. by paying off what you already have you are doing great.. I hope you don't have guilt about this! just short of £10k paid in 1 year is amazing.. I hope I can do as well!!

Are those figures including the interest you would have to pay or just the overall total?

    Well done HQ!!!!!

    Pigpen, have PM'd you.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
