Morning ladies! I see we've moved again!

I am so jealous of all the cars you lot have had!
I passed my test when I was 22, just after DH and I started going out together. He couldn't drive and my driving scared him so much he decided to pass his test too!
My first car was an X reg Peugeot 206, and now have a 57 reg VW Golf (bought new). Eventhough our car is *technically* mine, I never drive it :o. DH says he is going to get me my own car when the baby comes along - but I don't think I would use it enough as I am a nervous driver now (used to be a speed freak and really confident driver, so don't know what happened there ).

I've done it a few times searching, but only for short periods of time, like if we have a big spend coming up, I would doa strict budget for a couple of months before hand.

Well, managed to waddle down to the market with DH this morning....little monkey (the baby, that is!) decided to give me a huge kick right in the sore part of my bump, so I actually doubled over in front of loads of people :o...and there I was worrying at 3am this morning that he wasn't wriggling about quite as much as was usual...

I am definitely looking forward to being able to move about without pain once he is born and as for the list of what I shall be eating....it mostly contains chocolate, cake, fruit juice, cherries, grapes etc. etc. as well as being able to have pizza and tomato ketchup! I'm also looking forward to being able to sleep in whatever daft position I feel like.:j

I can drive but don't enjoy it much. Fortunately the public transport system here is excellent and pretty cheap, so we haven't bothered with a car...although we have joined a car share scheme which means that we can get a car if we want to do a big shop or go to Ikea or something. DH drives cos I'm not brave enough to face the Brussels traffic....the driving here is terrifying and I'd never get any further than our flat as I'm not pushy enough! He has to remember to adopt a different driving style whenever we are back in the UK...
