Hiya! Well we had our early private scan this morning (yay!) and even though I was quite nervous, everything looked fine! It's currently measuring roughly a week behind (8wks instead of the 9wks I am from LMP), but the tech said (and I've read this before) not to really pay attention to that as measurements aren't really that accurate until the baby gets bigger...your EDD isn't really "officially" set until about the 20wk scan.

Anyway, we saw the heartbeat and everything so it was really fun. I think the scan makes it look like a gerbil, :rotfl:.

I like piccys, so here's a link. Right now we're just calling it the "fuzzy blob" , because that's all it looks like!!

Right went to Lidl and got some food, so am now waiting on my chicken to cook to have burgers !! Yumm ...

MM im really starting to think we are the same .. were having chicken burger tonight although ours is going to be takeaway before the strictness begins :rotfl: x

thanks! I dunno why it's so indistinguishable when I've seen other scans at 8/9wks that are much clearer, but maybe baby had its back to us or something

Bah, the best laid plans...

[STRIKE]repair the afghan rug currently sitting on the back of my chair[/STRIKE]
Can't do it because it isn't actually torn, there's a mistake in it which is why it was left unfinished

proof read an article and send it back[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]research[/STRIKE] and get a contract for my phone
Just waiting for my beloved to check the terms and conditions for me

and if I drink any more water I'm going to throw up or float away

unlikely. I feel really panicky for no good reason
[STRIKE]convince my OH that he really wants to organise my phone contract for me so I don't have to talk to anyone[/STRIKE]
slim to none given the mood he's just woken in

We used all of our monthly take out budget last week when we had 2 chineses and a pizza !!!!:o oops :rotfl:

its the chinese that steal all your money .. pizza is pretty cheap (well where i get mine from) but chinese is a very special treat as we always spend £20 or some one meal ... its as special as nandos x

theres one thing i miss in london ... in angel there was a thai/chinese place all you can eat buffet for £7.99 ... OMG it was beautiful and then a bottle of wine you'd only spend about £25 and got fresh mints was great ... oh well x
