DH is 44 and doesn't drive - well, he's preparing to take his test - but that's after a few yeyars of encouragement from me. He used to ride his motorcycle, but then had a particularly nasty accident with a bad injury and while he wanted to drive a car at that point, he was too edgy about driving for awhile. Glad he's finally getting to it though. He's a good driver, just needs to get the testing out of the way.

Post-delivery Martini it is. Or do I carefully measure out a unit at a time of gloriously wonderful wine? We have two bottles of incredible wine plus some I bought from a tiny little vineyard in Tuscany while we were on our honeymoon that I'm not able to drink yet.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I bet the nurses will be horrified by us. They're used to people coming in and trying to hold off the drugs as long as possible. I asked about a practice run.

as u've all listed ur cars......................

G reg Peugeot 309 turbo diesel - had for 3 years and it died after doing a respectful 219,000 miles.

N reg Renault Clio diesel (£1000) - had for 1 year until my uncle came along with what seems a better car. Gave it to my dad who got it impounded!!

P Reg Vauxhall Astra Limited Edition (£500) had for a year and then it needed £600 worth of work doing. Fed up of 2nd hand cars so ............

Brand new 06 plate Peugeot 206 - had for 2.5 years.

3 month old 08 plate Peugeot 206 but only had 5 mile on the clock so saved a whopping £3k.

I couldn't imagine not driving - OH lets me drive everywhere as he hates driving!

Right I'm ready but postie not been yet  bet he arrives just after we leave. I want my bio oil.

Should be wearing my emma jane tights but I can't be arsed!!

Martini? Ha! We have a bottle of Krug sat waiting for Roo's arrival... :) Granted we bought it for our wedding day but never got round to drinking it - then I fell preggers and we decided it would be to wet the baby's head with :)

Right - I'm going to Oxford to sort out new batteries for the phones (both mine and DHs are new phones and neither holds a charge for more than a day... carp! At least DH can come with me to Oxford to get battery changed and then we're going to see Angels & Demons :D I'm going to try and pack NICE stuff into each day and hopefully that will tempt the little madam out :) hehehe

They're so cute - but more people hsve commented on how beautiful the socks are, rather than the baby who's wearing them. :rotfl:
