He's 33 Sami - he had started to learn to drive years and years ago, but then other expenses started (house etc!) so was put to one side as I had my license so wasn't necessary - plus I like driving :D I've had my license for about 12 years now. Rather more important now though, so lessons started again :)

    weirdo :p
I know loads of people don't but I just don't 'get' it If I was told I had to pick between being able to drive and losing my arm or something I'd have to think long n hard about it and prob keep the car! :rotfl: That is how lazy I am! plus public transport makes me itchy

Well trust u to be the exception to the rule!

I can fit a whole massive chocolate Marshmallow thing from LIDL in my mouth - thats my party trick!

I passed my test 5 months after my 17th birthday and am now on my 5th car. Lived in the middle of nowhere - bus stop was 3 miles away and train 10 miles away!!

I admit that the main reason I learned to drive was because my parents put me through a semi-intensive course before I went to university. We would have been stuck when I moved to live over here if I didn't have my license though - it was what allowed us to move out of the town and get a nice house further away from our workplaces :)

I learnt to drive in a month -was good fun :) And yes, he will be driving me to the hospital: at least, thats the plan - he is hoping to pass his test before the end of June so he will have plenty of practice time before september! He is a very good driver already so I see no problems :)
