well its best to get it sorted now while its free if u need anything done ;) (she says having never rescheduled the app she missed in Jan!!:o) mine just annoy me coz I hate the taste of blood and I get it at least twice a day, doesn't hurt or anything just bleeds.

im not registered at a dentist round here and im not sure how to

I phoned my local PCT and asked them - they told me that one dentist round here was accepting NHS patients so i rang them and got an appt no probs.

beanie - I thought they can still use local - they use it when ur in labour so can't be bad surely??
oh and to register just phone/go in and ask if they have any NHS places, if they do they'll just take ur details n make u an app :D

Not sure then but they def refused to adminster any when i was preg with DS and i had no complications. My friend is a dental nurse so i'll have to ask if it's a practice by practice thing or not.

Searching i've not been to the dentist for about 2 yrs knowing full well for most of that time that i've needed a filling!! It's been on my mental to do list for that whole time but i've left it alone as i thought it would be loads of hassle to get registered but it really wasn't!

My OH has to pay full whack coz our dentist don't send reminders if you've not had an app and just kick u off their list if you haven't been for 18 months drives me mad coz there were some free places recently and they said he couldn't have one coz he was already registered with them even though it wasn't NHS
