DS1 is way behind in writing, he hates it. But loves to read and will happily read to his little brother for hours. He seems to be either behind with some things (writing, drawing) and advanced in others (maths and reading). Some days I do worry and others I can see that he makes up for it in other ways. However, I think he would have been better off going into primary 1 a year later. He is a september baby, so how does that work, is he the youngest or oldest?0

tia - provided his birthday is after the 4th (I think) hewould be one of the eldest!0

Would September babies not be the oldest ???
Over here our classes are August babies to July so September would be near the oldest.
I wouldnt worry too much as long as he is happy at school, I think that is all you can ask for. Jasmine is a really messy writer, she isnt a fan of spaces between words at all !!!The two best things I have done with my life

Tia - in Scotland, does the school age year not go from March to February - therefore September would be bang in the middle? It was like that when I was at school, and pretty sure it's still the same now.0 -
