:( can i still hide out here with you lot? I know i dont post much, but i dont want to go into the TTC 12+ months thread :(

I stupidly decided to do some googling about recurrent miscarriage earlier and it looks like ive only got a 53% chance of my next beanie hanging around :(

    blahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    hugs :(

Do they know if there's cause of the recurring mc's?

53% chance isn't bad, better than half :T

bumble, have you had 3 angels now? Does that mean they will do some investigating to see if they were linked?
I'm sure its scary but at least you would then know if there was something you could do to make 'em stick xxx

Oh bumble, have you had any tests offered to see if there is a reason for it? A really close friend of mine had 2 miscarriages then her daughter then 3 more miscarriages and then her son, the doctors could find no reason at all that she shouldnt be able to carry, thats why she kept trying

  • Ive got an appointment on friday with the GP who specialises more in gynae, so hopefully she will refer me to the recurrent miscarriage unit.

This is my 3rd angel yes, but I think it's more difficult for them to find a reason for my losses because i already have DD, so its all a bit strange. I was talking to OH about the kinds of tests we might need to have and as soon as i said 'sperm analysis' he looked like id just told him id have to do it with a donkey :rotfl:

Were definately going to wait at least until ive had a period, we get married 3 weeks on Saturday  so we dont really want to be thinking about testing, or upset about AF etc etc, so im going to be naughty and do all the things i shouldn't if i want to.

I just hope we can get some answers.

Hmm.. I think I'm just feeling short-changed that I missed out on the last nine weeks - only did three quarters of pregnancy! Always said I wouldn't have any more until this one, Rhys, is three or four, by which time we should know the extent of his problems and how we'll cope with them (not that we won't cope - I just mean how life might have to be a little different to how we originally thought), then we'll see from there..

Righty, I'm going to have a nap before going to see Rhys again and then getting proper sleep. Am shattered after my trip out earlier - from hospital, around three tile shops and back to the hospital in 80 minutes!

    Night night all xx

    Night Lyns xx
