They wanted to come and tell me about the services surestart offer but I was too busy with appointments and said it was pointless coz I've already been going with Chris for 2yrsTigsteroonie wrote: »"Offered" ?????? As in you had a choice? I'm not surprised you almost fainted :rotfl: I'm being seen by the community midwife, down at my local medical centre (not at home), and I have to fit into her heavy list of appointments which all seem to be on a Thursday.
The comm MWs are only at my GPs on a tues afternoon for antenatal and Thursdays for booking in but coz I'm having a home birth I've had a home visit and I had a rush job blood test that I had to go too the 'big' clinic for - I'm special

Yay thanks for replying, i'm usually unnoticed :rotfl::oTigsteroonie wrote: »On a Sunday? Wow. Think my midwife would collapse in shock if I suggested anything like that!
Had my quadruple blood test taken a week ago, I'm waiting for the results. But we've already decided not to follow up with an amnio, even in the results are bad - we just want to know the statistics.
Not personally, I just scraped in with a BMI of 30
I thought it was strange that they came on a Sunday too, but i didn't even request it they just sent me a letter saying that's when it was!
I didn't have any such tests with DS so not sure how i'd feel if i came back high risk
Oh and she said if i was an inch taller i'd have scraped by too, might wear secret heels when they weigh me
