OK, bedtime for me. I'm planning on taking it very easy so I don't have to go back to the hospital and shamefacedly explain to a stern doctor that it's my husband's birthday and we don't have the self-control to adhere to a sex ban for five days even under medical advice.
Couple of little niggles from the undercarriage region that had me concerned ... until the wind started. Last night a baked potato with beans, tonight Indian food ... it's a good thing he loves me or we'd need another extra room for me to sleep in!
Goodnight everyone - elle, I hope the nurse is wonderful tonight and that Rhys is going on well.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

What a weekend!
Up at 5am yesterday - bed at 2.30am!!
Was naughty and had a glass of wine and half a truffle dessert!
Great day (even though we lost!) and fab night - my bump has been mauled all weekend!! Baby's met more Premership Footballers than most!!!
Going to see if I can catch up!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

I was just wondering why I'm not actually starving.. then I remembered the jacket potato with coleslaw I had at 5pm! I've had hospital dinners today - get them free cos I'm breastfeeding. Had sheperd's pie, peas and roast potatoes for dinner, then the jacket potato for tea - potato overload!
Also had a Cadbury's trifle just before tea (never quite know when meals are going to arrive).
Dad brought us a mini fridge for our room in today plus a tub of strawberries and a carton of milk - just about fills it!0 -
Oh, OH just got back from seeing Rhys. He's got to have a new line put in his foot
(like the ones we have on the back of our hands if having a drip, for example). At one point, he had one in each hand and foot, but in the last few days it's gone down to just one in his right hand to take blood from and one in his right foot for all the drugs to go in - some constantly and some just injected into the line as and when he needs them. Turns out the one in his foot has now come adrift and needs changing.. Wish I could be there to hold his hand while they do it, but it's like a mini op and they kick everyone out of the room apart from a consultant and a registrar

My bump feels MASSIVE and quite hard atm, baby didn't like the loud music last night and kept kicking me.
Met a lovely woman who lives near me (partner of someone from OH's work) who is also pg (16 weeks) and doesn't really know anyone so over the summer we are going to go Aqua Natal together and then group[s when babies born :j
