woo hoo harley, bargain shop !!!

Can you not just tell them not to open it?

I know, I am so proud of myself for not just jumping in and buying it the first place I saw it. It'll be addressed to me so they are highly unlikely to open it. If they do it will serve them right for being so nosy:rolleyes:

Tara, I am in beautifully sunny Yeovil. Though, we did spend the day wishing we were in Lyme. I bet you had lovely sunshine with the added bonus of a sea breeze. I'll be down soon to visit that teddy bear shop you mentioned. Think it will be turning into a bit of a family outing as everyone wants to come.

Tia - it is at Littlewoods direct. If you need the code, take a visit to the discount codes board. My cashback was via thesuncashback.co.uk. Though I have discovered some other sites give higher discount - mothercare for example... I only got 2% but other sites apparently give upto 5%.

I appear to be having cravings yesterday and today and they are for gin and tonic:eek: I havent drunk any alcohol for years and would probably fall over if i had a sip:rotfl:

My old "What to expect when you're expecting" book from first time round, used to suggest pouring a small amount of gin into a saucer, dipping the rim of your glass in it, then topping up glass with ice, tonic and lemon. The gin around the rim of the glass gives the taste of a proper gin and tonic but the actual alcohol content is minimal. Maybe worth a try? Can't see why it wouldn't work with a martini too, so long as you don't mind having that with either lemonade or soda water rather than straight.

that one, but looking at it, ELC has better, so does argos and for cheaper (even after the 'deal').

I do like this swing though....

but my tightness is itching me.... (especially as ELC give you 20% off vouchers on a regular basis with the birthday club)

wayyyyyy too much for me :rotfl:

I'll stick to argos, even ELC is pushing the boat out.

Actually I need to check who takes high street shopping vouchers....

Atgos, boots, ELC, mothercare, matalan.... pretty much the shops I do my shopping in :D

Sometimes the bargains can be better elsewhere, I'm slowly learning to shop around. Haven't found that bouncer any cheaper though and everyone who had it raved about it this morning so I decided to go for it.

Love the swing tia. Might mention it to nanny and grandad since I just got told off for buying stuff that they might have wanted to get as a present.

Dad was thinking of a teddy apparently. I told him that I would still like that as I still have the one he got me and would like baby to have the same sort of keepsake. Think he was quite touched by that.:D

MM - that playmat would be £45 on littlewoods with the discount. plus 3.95 p&p.

I have vouchers to use for ELC that my work friends gave me before I left for mat leave. They bought me the bouncer chair, but gave me £30 in vouchers too, so I think mine will have to be a ELC purchase !!!

I'm considering packing the fixings for a martini into my labour bag for afterwards. We were originally going with a bottle of wine, but at the moment the martini wins.
