thanks for those links girls - I'll take a proper look later, just asked OH for his thoughts and he's tired so no response!
Bu99er got ME up at 7am to traipse around car boot and he's going to sleep on sofa while I do my NVQ Work!!

My OH always leaves stuff til about 30mins before I get home - he does nothing all day and says 'Oh I was waiting for u to come home!'

He might be out tomorrow so house to myself for a bit althou I'll have to go and drop him off and pick him up somewhere in Liverpool!!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

I need help (well, more than usual :rotfl:)

I want ONE dress to do all the following

    Glam for evening
Dress down for daytime (christening and maybe wedding in summer)
    Summery
No prints like paisley or little flowers or patterns
    No lacy bits
    No plunging necklines!
    Be a size 8
    Reasonably priced - max £40

I don't like any on ASOS that could do all of the above!

Any ideas? Should I just buy 2 cheaper dresses? They might not get much wear!

These ones in the Isabella Oliver sale are only a few quid more than your maximum, but you will probably get the full amount back on ebay after your pregnancy, unless you spill mayo down them or something.

The stuff I ordered from them (which included the white halterneck dress in the link) arrived earlier this week, and they are miles nicer and more flattering than anything else I've got. They actually manage to make me look quite slim (unless you catch sight of me from a side angle, when the bump is all out in front) as they are very flattering over boobs, bum and thighs :D

Oops, GISI beat me to it! How about the seraphine sale as well?

Here's one which is in your size and might fit your criteria, but there are loads of others on the site as well, and again this make holds its value extremely well on ebay. I suspect that if you buy things in the sale, you'll get their full price back when you come to resell, as the second hand stuff I've been looking at on ebay for this and isabella oliver is all going for more than similar things I've recently bought new in the sales
