Lolly, sorry to hear your troubles.

Can anyone shed some light for me, I've got a Maxi cosi cabriofix car seat ready but just tried it in the car and I'm a bit worried with how 'wobbly' it seems. I was going to buy the base but never did- didnt think it was very mse- now I'm not so sure.

Any thought girls?? edd tomorrow so I've left it a little late to panic!
a group 0 car seat (ie this one) should be a bit wobbly ;) its only once you get forward facing that they should be solidly in place.
A grp 0 seat in the event of an accident should be pulled up by the seatbelt so bubba is protected IYKWIM? so it need to have a bit of give if u want to get it fitted properly have a look here Local Car Seats Help and Advice
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

Well guys my gut feeling was right, Im on team BLUE! The sonographer wasn't sure, baby had cord inbetween legs so she made me turn onto my side to see if baby would move. She then pointed out what she thought were boy bits, said she was 98% sure. I thought I saw 3 lines, but what do I know! He was moving around loads and had one arm behind head at one point in typical man pose!
We went to the shops after and I could feel myself getting out of breath and I went really hot, clammy and light headed, really had to stop myself fainting, twice. Was so embarrasing, everyone was gawping at me!! I went and had a coffee in Mcdonalds then felt abit better.
I'll put some pics up shortly when Ive eaten. Im shattered, didn't sleep much last night and Ive been walking round Leeds all day. I hope there have been some births since Ive been gone!!
love my little man he is amazing :j

can't wait to see pics Helen, love scan pics!!!
Congrats on team blue, some gorgeous little boy clothes in shops at the mo!!
I have resigned myself to the fact that I am not gonna know what flavour I am having until he/she pops out. Our hospital refuses to tell and there are only 2 places here that offer gender scans and they cost.............. £350!!! No way could I justify that. Was gonna go to Scotland for the day and get it done there (get free boat cos of hubbys job) but closest one is 2 hrs drive away in Glasgow and there is always the chance bubs would not play ball and it would be a waste of time and effort!!
    Coming soon............
Brand new baby first showing in November!
Brand new baby boy (Matthew) born 3 weeks early weighing a diddly 5lb 4 oz!!

    Congratulations helen!

    Is anyone in labour yet?

And can anyone remind me of the link someone posted a while back about sex during pregnancy? I want to say it's a website called Scarlet but I'm not sure.
