I need help (well, more than usual :rotfl:)
I want ONE dress to do all the following
Glam for evening
Dress down for daytime (christening and maybe wedding in summer)
Summery
No prints like paisley or little flowers or patterns
No lacy bits
No plunging necklines!
Be a size 8
Reasonably priced - max £40
I don't like any on ASOS that could do all of the above!
Any ideas? Should I just buy 2 cheaper dresses? They might not get much wear!

Candice, did the place you got the car seat from not offer a fitting service, local councils also run schemes to, you could ring their road safety department.Too many children, too little time!!!0

Glam I think this dress is lovely, although a bit more than your price range. To be honest you would probably get pretty much the full value back on eBay if you sold it once you've had bubs. IO really seems to hold its value. Might be a bit too much of a plunging neckline though.

I love the dress I got from there and will definitely be selling it on once I've finished with it!
Well, I finally managed to get out in the garden between torrential showers and get the courgettes, runner beans and leeks in the ground as they had got way too big for their pots. Still lots to do out there, but at least I made a start!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Glam have you looked on ebay? I got a black dress and jeans for about a fiver. The dress had that kinda elasticated chest area??? not sure how to describe it but its a panelled area right round thats got several lines of elastic making a concertina effect, then it was plain. The length was the winner just under the knees so could be evening wear too.
Just a thought as to what to look for if you want plain but possibilty to dress up. Otherwise I know a few pregnant ladies that do leggins and tunic, short dress type combinations - I don't but you could get white leggins for a summer look, black for night time?:j

Hi tara, got it from Mothercare so I'm sure they would've fitted it but its going to be in 3 different cars so we didn't worry about that.
It's fitted correctly, I've looked over instructions and watched video, I think I just expected it to be a tighter fit.
The local base I bid on has already gone over what I want to pay so have bid on another but much further away so might have to make do for journey home - can't see us going anywhere else the first week, lol!!:j

Is it really bad that I'm leaving the ironing another half an hour so I'm still doing it when OH gets in from work!!! Not that I don't intend to do it, just that I want to make sure he knows I have done it. I'm sure he does it too....:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
