What a gorgeous little girl Angela.
I fear that my little girl may end up with a ginger afro. My hair is red (not quite ginger) and her daddy is African with a potential afro if he ever let it grow. My dad is Iraqi and has black afro type hair with shots of red through it in the sun. I can't wait to see who she looks like. From the 3d scan she seemed to have my nose and her daddys full lips - perfect for pouting!!
I have just been going frantic when I checked my online bank account and saw -£600.00. After sitting here sweating as I know I have just been paid I realised that that is the figure for my professional loan account. So that means I only have £600.00 to pay from my original £10,000.00 loan which should be paid off in 2 months. Yippeeeeeee!Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
Ha mooki, both Himself and myself have curls. His are far wilder than mine, but mine are red. I'm really hoping for red hair, but if she has it she'll grow up looking like Sideshow Bob.
She already has his lips and nose, as we can see from the 4D scans. I want her to have some of my genes, damn it all!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Something happened last night that I haven't told anyone, not even OH, been chewing it over all day and have decided not to as he'll whisk me back in like Saturday. I had what I can only describe as a bloody show, so only a bit of mucus but more blood, nothing now but I'm not ready!
Tara - at least ring the MW for advice!
I know that I wouldn't want to tell OH - I don't tell him if I'm worried bubs not moved cos I know he'll panic and drag me off for a check up.
We are here if you need us!
Thanks for photo Angela - she is lovely!
Just eaten a Fruitini jelly thing from ASDA, need some change so bought them 4 pots for 50p.
Tried my dress on that I have here - it's from New Look and is a Maxi style dress (very long). Looks OK thou so will do for Saturday!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Next random question I've suffered from thrush all the way throughout my pregnancy, will it be a problem if I still have it when the baby is born? You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -

Yes, because the baby will get it in its mouth as it comes down the birth canal, according to my books, and you can then pass it back and forth on the breast (think that info was from Sami). It's why I am going to use a canestan at about 38 weeks, in preparation.
I checked with a MW and she said it is fine to use the cream even if you don;t have thrush, so you could do that, but the pessary apparently won;t hurt as long as you don;t use one every fortnight!
You can also ask your MW to swab for it if you're concerned.:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Thanks skinty - I'm going to use some canestan tonight that I've been prescribed but I may go back and ask for a top up to use closer to the time.
You say you're going to use at 38 weeks, can I ask why? Does the treatment last for a couple of weeks or is there another reason? You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -
Blimey ladies, you lot can really talk in a day. Its taken me an hour and half to catch up.
Thanks Krystal and Angela - 2 beautiful little girls, look forward to hearing about their arrivals.
I went to the docs today about the nasty itchy spot, which is now spots all over. She didn't know what it was but gave me some Eurax to stop the itching. I got back to the office and covered myself in it. THEN I decided to read the label and it says 'Not recommended for use during pregnanacy' Yet the Doc prescribed it and the pharmacist gave it to me both knowing that I am pregnant. Has anyone else used it or specifically been told not to use it? I am slightly confused as to what to do and its too late to ring doc and rather not bother NHS direct if I can help it in case they think I a hypochondriac:o
Thanks
