Does Eve Violet Telfer sound good as a name? Violet was my Nana's name and I always planned on giving it to my daughter as a middle name. Although I think it may need another one before Violet to link them together?
    Loves it!

When I cook with onions, my fingers smell really bad for days and no amount of washing seems to get rid of it.

I rub mint sauce into my hands if they are oniony always makes 'em smell nice :D I think its the combo of vinegar and mint that neutralises the smell and leaves 'em minty fresh (don't do it if u cut yourself while chopping tho )

Sorry to hijack your thread ladies but can anyone shed any light on taking aspirin during pregnancy?

I've had 3 miscarriages (although we look at the third as more of a late period as it was nothing compared to the second one - sorry TMI I know).

I got referred to a consultant gynae for about a million blood tests and everything came back 'normal'. Part of me wished they'd found something so it could be treated but part of me was also relieved that everything was OK too.

I've read varying reports about taking aspirin during pregnancy and just wondered if anyone on here had any advise about this?

    Regards

Aspirin is often prescribed as a blood-thinning agent. Paracetamol is safe for use during pregnancy; aspirin may not be and should probably be avoided just in case.

Hi Emma - I think Tia (who should be of studying right now but will prob pop along soon :naughty:) is taking Asprin for something like high blood pressure.
I wouldn't touch it unless you have been advised to do so my a doctor tho.
