I assume the aspirin question is to do with preventing miscarriage? I don;t know a lot about it - it may be worth asking on the TTC threads.

EDIT - if you are already PG then I don;t think you can take it but I'm not totally sure as I think some ladies do in early Pg if they have had a lot of miscarriages. I have a friend who knows more about it than I do.

    :j:j:j:j:j:j whoop whoop!! :D

Ps. I went to boobie group today, everyone quite nice, one mum had my sainsbury's top on in diff colour :p Christopher had fun 'looking after' the babies and we both enjoyed some free juice and fruit. I feel much more happy about going along once bubs arrives now :)

Emma - I know on a lot of ttc and pregnancy sites that a number of women "self-treat" themselves with aspirin, but if the consultant has done a blood screen on you and the clotting factors are fine, it's not a good idea to take aspiring during pregnancy unless advised by a doctor. I know the 3 m/c's can be incredibly frustrating - we had 4 of them in a row - some early, some not so early - but unfortunately it can sometimes be attributed to simple bad luck, as my GP put it.

So when is the best time to go to a breast feeding support/info group? We have one locally, and I have all the info for their weekly meetings. However, I'm at 30wks right now. Seems a bit silly to pop in there yet. But with my luck, I'd wait to go until later and then go into labour early. LOL The midwife said it was a good idea to pop in to a few meetings prior to giving birth, but stupid me forgot to ask how early.

oh and it looks like i'm around the middle age wise on the thread, both me and OH will be 29 when the baby comes, my birthday is onyla few weeks before my due date though so i'll be only just 29!

I'm 41 and feel it - does that make me geriatric ?
