I hope so too they have sent some samples off for testing and they will let my gp know. They are so lovely in the early pregnancy unit there was 1 scanner person and 2 nurses in there just incase it was bad news - it was like a mini party when they caught sight of the bean which only took about 2 secconds and it was tissues all round. I thaught they would be quite harsh/clinical for some reason
and they gave me a direct number to them so i can just call up and go back in anytime - no waiting in a&e again:T

am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo pleased for you! Can't believe you are only 7 weeks though - feels like you've been here much longer than that!
Ferrous Sulphate - not sure about in pg but normally pt would have a FBC (full blood count) if Hb was low, take iron for 3 months and then re-test.
I might try aqua-natal as I am getting really stiff hips!!
Oh yea and guess what?!
OH bought my footy shirt home on Saturday with Mummy 2 Be on the back. I was a bit annoyed cos I gave him a small shirt and he came home with a Medium which makes me look fat rather than pregnant. Apparently the guys doing the shirt said I needed a Medium :mad:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
I could only get half my shift covered so am working 5-9 instead. Feel really hot and shaky, so will see if I can get OH to drive me there and back as I don't fancy 20 minutes each way on the motorway feeling like this. At least I can rest a bit more though.
Called doctor and can just get a repeat for the Ferrous sulphate. Still have some Spatone so will take that in the meantime even though it's nowhere near as strong.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Hi All,
Hope someone can reassure me all is well. I'm still really early only 5 weeks. Just started to get a few niggling faint pains like period pain. Panicking that something is going wrong already. I know it can happen but did anyone else feel this too.
Thanks

Winnie - pains are normal. I got them up to about 12 weeks and my GP said to expect them. If the pains are accompanied by any bleeding then that's when you need to worry.
In the meantime, relax and enjoy being pregnantA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
