Thank goodness Rhys is doing better again. Will still be thinking and praying for you both Elle. It's a horrible stressful time you're going though, and my thoughts are with you.0

Works a treat with my OH, I asked him 6 times to move the hoover for me the other day as it is quite heavy - got up and started moving it myself and he took it off me!

lol Peenie
I get allsort of mispellings though. Sky think my name is Tia. Other people pronounce it Pie-a. Some people spell and pronounce it Pier or Pierre. Some dumbasses even say Peter0 -
OH has just txt me.. Rhys' last blood gases have come back good. He's looking less swollen on his legs too and he's still "peeing for England".
What we need now is for him to carry on peeing which shows that the odema(?) is coming out and he'll be less swollen, inside and out. If he has less swelling inside, his bowels will work better (hence the nappy being encouraging this morning) and he'll be able to process more milk so they can up the feeds (currently on 1.5ml an hour!) which will get more protein into him which in turn will help the swelling go down and get the fluid out of his lungs, building up to weaning him off the ventilator again.
Sorry if that all seems like waffle - it's okay to understand but hard to repeat back out to someone else!
Heading back to the hospital soon.. Might try to come home for an hour a day for a bit of normality. Will do it in relay with OH so there's always one of us at the hospital.
Catch up soon. Will keep Sami up-to-date in the meantime. Love to all xx0 -
