I received the full bonus's and every last £30 payment last year, all honestly. The whole EMA system is that flawed you just have to not let them bring you down. I have memories of waiting in queues asking why my money wasnt paid in on time and when it will be, as students hand in forms signed by their micky mouse tutor. The vast majority of these students most likely have less than a 20% attendance. It wasnt even a case of turning up to get your EMA, the worst part was some of these children actually believe that helping your friend move into a flat for an entire week counts as a legitimate absence.

I believe they have a new system in effect for the coming year for stricter attendance. Its a real shame ill pass and not see the change.

The people who administer EMA for my school ought to be in charge of it all, then you'd see people only getting paid when they have 100% attendance, and where it is less than this for a legitimate reason like an exam!
