Yes you are correct, most people I know can just manage to earn that in a month let alone a week, £2k a week is footballer's salary :T
When I mention capped I more had in mind £50 a week.0 -
I have never hounded my ex partner for money. In fact, he has the oppurtunity to be part of my sons life. All I ever asked him was to help buy clothes, shoes, books ect. I do not go out, I dont buy myself anything and that doesnt bother me but what bothers me is that my son is being affected by this. I do not want my son looking like a tramp in clothes to small for him or with holes in his shoes. My son is the innocent one. It takes 2 to make a child, if he walked away from my son when he was a baby then i would never bother or give someone the time of the day but the fact is, he has been in my sons life and should help out. It was his choice not to help me as he wanted to spend his money on drugs, designer clothes and trips abroad to play golf. That doesnt bother me either as I have lived my life and had fun before I gave birth. My duty is to bring up my son as best as I can but when Im strugglying, its dammm hard. Kids grow up quick. Im not ashamed that I go charity shops or boot sales to buy my son stuff as thats the cheapist option for me. Im not ashamed that I buy his stuff from Primark but my son is a boy and growing all the time. Its not fair that he cannot have normal activities like some other fortunate children.
I will not be claiming benefits forever which is why Im going college and doing work experience to better my life. By april next year I will qualify and can then work full time but till then I am going to struggle. I am not a begger and never will be. My ex owes me a lot of money from the past when I use to work and i never got a penny back. This is not to get back at him but to get help for my sons upbringing. He pays for his other 2 children, 1 through the csa and the other cash in hand, so why should my son suffer anymore. This is why I only applied in december, any other person would of done it a long time ago but he had 7 years.
Hi, I can only echo what Soubrette has said. Anyone with any sense would not see you as a beggar, your doing your bit and then some.Your simply fighting for your child.Good luck.:A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:0 -
My case went to clerical...you must get in touch with your MP to speed this process up..mine was sorted within 2 months instead of several months. My ex had to pay the first payment through DOE on 25th April but his employer has until 19th May for the payment to reach the CSA...it then has to be transferred to my account...another week for that. I have had nothing as yet, but still time.
I do hope you get this sorted. Defo get in touch with your MP though.0 -
£50 per week if you have 6 children??????? That is a joke! Of course it should be linked to the income of the NRP.0

heh heh , yes unless the NRP is female , but remember the fluid donations have little to do with the financial standing of the donator

:rolleyes:That's a cracking bit of advice...let the NRP walk away scot free just incase he/she might pack in their job.Yeah, close the case, you don't need his money , it is obvious he aint gonna make the task smooth and will prolly pack up work and play the system.Hit the snitch button!member #1 of the official warning clique.
