I can honestly say that the facial redness remedy does not work to reduce existing thread veins. But, being green-tinted, it does camouflage somewhat. I have found that my skin doesn't like having foundation and other sorts of hard creams; it just flakes and looks nasty. That's why I mix everything together with the Boots moisturizer. So I'll see what things look like in about 3 month's time?0

Well I mixed my clinique foundation with some nivea and it was lovely! Went on really well and stayed on -also felt better too so thank you very much for that one.
Thank you also for the advice about the camomile tea, I have invested in a mixed box of herbal tea bags and am working my way through them!

I can't drink caffine after 4pm in the afternoon, as it turns me into a non-sleeping, hyperactive, waffling idiot! In fact, rather like a toddler!!!

In the evenings at this time of year though it is lovely to have a warm cup of tea/coffee after dinner. Decaff isn't all it's cracked up to be so that's when I became hooked on peppermint tea.
It's great for the digestive system, is very soothing and has become part of my nightime routine. ANother bonus is that it definately helps eliminate a hangover if you drink it when you get home from the pub! ::)
I can't promise that all my replies will illicit this responser.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!

Yes....this is actually where this thread originally started ;) I am not convinced that this forum is the best place for it (moved by the moderators), given that it doesn't actually have anything to do with shopping, but there you go :-/

Another tip I have is to use Olive Oil as a cleanser. It is brilliant at removing make up and is good for oily congested skin. You warm a little in the palms of your hands and massage it into the skin then with a wet hot cloth you wipe it off. It will leave your skin soft and smooth and wont cause spots.0
