Hi KJ I am expecting a phone call to my mobile!

Well I now have a semi-working forum on my website... Still design issues to resolve but definitely getting there. I am thrilled to bits... I keep doing little victory dances when I resolve something on the web! I am almost completely self-taught!

Well done. I'm not very enamoured by ours. Its difficult to say it's crappy but it is but it's the first thing he's built in ages. So I will try and find my inner-tact, it's has to be there - brand new in box as ebay would say.

Let us know when you hear and I'll do likewise.

    Night night

    Triple bad day.

I will vent, then cry, then relax.

    1) Went into see accountant. Allowed an hour on the meeting (usually 30 mins) overran to 1:45mins so ticket on my car. My fault - yes. £30.

    2) Didn't get job. Allegedly best at interview but other candidate had perfect example (secret squirrel job so no idea what examples we were aiming for!!) but I was stronger all round. Due to SS job, example was exactly what they need to do and haven't done before. Plus side is they're trying to find something else for me so fingers crossed but job gone. My fault - sort of. £000's.

    3) Git who has been living rent free in a flat since last June and has asbos refused to leave. I employed solicitor and notice to quit I issued now invalid because I didn't use Recorded Delivery because he refuses to sign for them. The fact he admits he got the notices makes no difference. Upshot is we need to serve again. My fault - yes. £6000 rent arrears by the time it goes to court plus at least £500 solicitor costs. Sorry but I hope he burns in hell. He can't be bothered filling out the benefit form and thinks I should fund him.

Today has been very expensive and very very frustrating.

    Feeling very stressed today.

Had total bill for remainder of extension, including floor so that's another £8k to find plus my shower has now packed in.

The whole tenant who pays no rent but has more rights than Mike Tyson is freaking me out. I need to decide whether or not to push for court order which is discretionary due to my c0ck-up even although he admits getting papers, has been dumped by the homelessness team as impossible to work with and has asbo warnings BUT the sheriff can over-ride all that if he's in a mood. OR I serve again from scratch with Sheriff Officers, 2 months notice, court appearance and more sheriff officers to physically remove him. Given the size of the debt, no faith left at all in system and current run of luck...starting again seems the safest bet.

You can be sure I'll never make this mistake again...I feel bl00dy awful about it.

Poor you KJ :( That is a bummer - especially about no Recorded Delivery  How frustrating.

We are intending to rent out this house by the end of the year and I have to say your tales make me reconsider - it sounds like a bl00dy nightmare!

Hope you get it sorted soon and drank some wine last night x
