That sounds a great way forward letting you have the income and time to concentrate on your next steps.
I have to split my cv into two levels over the weekend so I'll bring it here and do it tomorrow.
Got the scanner to work today - yea...one little victory in IT world.
How are you doing the website? Are you using a book or are you trained in doing it. I want to help OH with ours because it needs work but don't know where to start.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
My assistant went home at 10:30 as one of her girls is ill. She's the last human I've seen :rotfl:
Still loads to work out and I'll do the cv tomorrow as I expect it to be even quieter (if that's possible).
We will get there, just given the interest over the last couple of days I'm surprised nobody's been in to have a neb if nothing else. We're not renowned for being shy round here.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
Well I am thinking of becoming an affiliate for the internet site I am using - but basically I bought a website design package that gives free hosting for a year for £35. I have already upgraded it once which cost me another £10 but much cheaper than other sites out there. I will send you a pm with my site address and it will give you a flavour of what the package can do... The forum and blog bit aren't finished yet but I would be interested to hear what you think of the rest... I bought my domain names separately as some sites make them difficult to move....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi,
My brother bought mine for all 3 businesses (I think) but this is the first one actively going up. Once we're slightly stabalised on it I'll speak to OH to see what we've got and where. For some reasons these conversations always get very fraught as he speaks alien and isn't good at dumbing it down for me.
In all honesty IT to me is Finance to him with the difference that I've never falled asleep yet in PC World - it was the snoring that gave him away. If ever a woman thought "No-one appreciates me in this role" it was that assistant after he dropped off 10 minutes into HIS financial review!!:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. hope all is still going well with your new venture
funny - him falling asleep in his review!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Report on grand opening - very very quiet and huge pile of [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]trash [/STRIKE][STRIKE]shiite[/STRIKE]received from diary we said we'd help out.
Took one complete car load of junk to the skip today and will tackle second half tomorrow. Have salavaged a few little bits for ebay and 3 boxes for charity shop. Hands have been washed a lot ugh.
First couple of real lots received and enquiry about if I could sell 6 rolls of old B&Q wallpaper. eh no.
On another note, I phoned about a consultancy job and sent agency my cv on Thursday. They asked me to create two separate ones for different types of roles and that was job for today. However phone call this morning to say they'd sent it thro as is and I've an interview tomorrow. Gulp - don't even have the email to say where yet. Job is top secret so no prep possible, just turn up and wow them.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
Finished junk heap and now showered and human again.
Our first official customer has signed up and we'll list her stuff later in the week.
Off to secret interview now, no idea what to expect but all good experience.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
