We were pretending to be civilised.

Misha was in the middle praying we didn't notice and might drop one.

    Many thanks.

    Well quick round up.

Met builders and photocopied 8 sets of plans - £36. So they're off for individual trade quotes now.

Met clients and proposal for 20 days work going in today. Thet'll let me kick start it and hopefully more to come IF their MD approves.

Have 2 separate OU essays due by end of month. 1 is to finish of this course and 1 is first for new course. So plan to do finishing off essay by end of this weekend. And that gives me 10 days to do new course (need to open books first) essay.

CAB tomorrow but finding it harder and harder to fit in.

Couple of other projects in the pipeline and OH doing some computer stuff which is good for his confidence and re-building his skills. If consultancy contract comes good might subcontract some other work I have so I can keep both going. But it's all IF IF IF at the moment.

  • Hi KissJen!

Pleased to hear things are on the up for you!!!!!

As usual your diary makes me smile and aside from my PMT, currently I am all about smiles at the mo. Let's hope it lasts..... though Mr GG said I have woken up in a grump!

I have been offered a job and have accepted and will start asap so have a busy schedule of things to do before I get slurped into the black hole of working til I am a billionty five years old.

Do need to buy some new work clothes, don't really have any £'s but wonder if its worth spending some of me overdraft to get some tops and I desperately need some new trousers, my old ones are too big, have buttons missing and my shoes well they need reheeling. Honestly, I'll have my new colleagues bringing in their unwanted clothes so that I can at least look professional. Certainly its no rags to riches, but rags to worse rags !!! LOL.

Thanks GG...thats wonderful news on the job. I'll pop by your thread and see if there are more details there. Very true about fitting jobs in tho, no idea where I'll currently shoehorn in a 40 hr plus travelling time job!!

Oh a little story from Tenantsville.

I was phoned by ASBO people last night because the ones who got a warning a couple of months ago have been at it again. So badly, she's been arrested. And they're in arrears grrrrrr.

So I called her last night,

Me: Is this true, tell me what happened.
Her: Yeah got arrested but outside the flat so didn't cause a disruption in the stair. I'd had a bit to drink.
Me: Where was your 18mth old baby?
    Her: He wasn't here, I don't get really !!!!!! when he's here cos I'm a responsible parent.
    Me: Why were you arrested?
Her: Cos I don't know when to shut my mouth. But I've poured all the bottles down the sink now.
Me: You know they'll push for full Police involvement as you've already got a stage 3 ASBO warning.
Her: I don't know about that. Who told you?
Me: You, the night you caused a riot. And then the Police and the Council. The fact that 8 flats phoned to report you and 4 police cars were involved meant you were immediately put on the last stage warning and told if you ever did it again the Police and Social Work would be fully involved.
Her: Don't remember that. Are you sure?

What in the name of Jeezus are you meant to say apart from bye bye?
