Anyone who wants some "price reduced" CORNED BEEF at the minute should try ASDA.

They currently have a TRIPLE pack of PRINCES Corned Beef (3 x 340g) for just £2

Make sure you get the 3 x 340g pack ....

    ... there is a 3 x 200g pack and that COSTS £2.38 !!!!!

I completely agree, it was pretty nasty, no taste.

  • Don't forget that Corned Beef is a HIGH SALT product and as such not good for your health but even worst than the high salt content is the proportion of FAT CALORIES IN RELATION TO TOTAL CALORIES 80-90%
This food is high in Saturated Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium.

i love corned beef it,s great to have in your cupboard for emergencies and midnight munchies. tomato sauce or salad cream corned beef sarnies are great.

the increase is definatly down to the argentina thing. i read a artical in the Times . i think the cattle farmers are telling the goverment that they won,t be told what to sell thier stock for. hence thet aren,t selling any , means shortage of product= price rise

did you know that Argentina has largest consumption of beef per person in the world.

and now apoligies about going completely off topic but !!!!!

i also can not let SOMERLED's little British Rail and leaves on the line commment pass. Leaves on the line is a extremely dangerous problem for train travel. without going into detail would you get on plane that the air traffic control could not see ??? and had a large potential for a mid air crash with anthor unseen plane ??? errr no. belive me there is NOTHING trivial about leaves on the line for railway men like myself. anyone wanting to discuss this futher or wants more info let me know and i will start
a thread at the moneysavers arms. and i will expel all myths with this subject
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:
