I will only eat Argentinian Corn Beef, Brazilian Corn Beef does not have the same taste.
Trouble is most being sold is Brazilian.0 -
Buying by brand is no garrantee of quality as most corned beef is imported in the bare can and labeled over here .
I have found identical manufacturing marks as regards factory of origin on budget brands and so called premium brands.
IMHO it is the luck of the draw regarding quality and taste and depends on which wholesaler or retail outlet buys the consignment .

My 3 year old loves corned beef hash (and I am partial to corned beef and beetroot sarnies) Recently Asda have increased their price from 78p to £1.18 for Princes brand - they obviously think it is a non price sensitive line and we won't notice and they can get away with it!

Tesco currently has the 340g can of Princes Corned beef for 89p, marked down from £1.19. Expires on April 4th, so stock up before then if you are a fan of 'name brand' corned beef!0

I was in Lidl this evening and guess what their Corn Beef had also mysteriously risen to 78p too. Not 77 or 79p is their a conspiracy out there?

Well basically its potato, onion and corned beef and im sure she chucks it all in a pan with a little water cooks it down and then mashes it all up.
