Teresita, that must have been so scary! My DH is diabetic (Type 2) but ordinary blood tests didn't pick it up for ages - not until he was really craving sweets but they were making him feel worse rather than better:eek:
Might be worth asking your GP to refer you for a Glucose Tolerance Test to set your mind at rest one way or the other (((HUGS)))0 -

Thanks for the tip about the GTT. Thats what picked up my diabetes in pregnancy. Keep telling them something isnt right so we will see. Miserable day weather-wise today drizzled all day cold as well, ah well suppose we have to pay for the lovely weather we had over the last few days :rolleyes:
not done much at home today,been out for most of it.
did put braising steak and veg in SC before we went out so its ready to eat when I have finished on here.
Put a load of towels and stuff in the WM before we went out and its in the spare room now on an airer.
Friends who called as we got back, have just left so thought I'd nip on here for a quick look

Evening everyone
Been a bit MIA latetly, stuff getting in the way. Work and am afraid hospital stuff.
Have a confession, no OS going on this week as am at my parents.
Came down last saturday as was DGD's christening on Sunday, lovely day, weather was great and so was she awwwww, theres some pics on my FB. My DD had really worked hard to make it a lovely occasion....and my cakes went down well too.
Took DD and SIL out for lunch today as was SIL's birthday yesterday, and my DD is a chip of the old block, looked up 2 for 1 vouchers before we went :rotfl:
Going out with parents tomorrow, then to DS in the evening, then friday out with DSIS and BIL phewwwwwwwww be glad to get back to work next week for a rest!
Although I have not been posting, I have been reading, so would like to send a big hug to all those who have needed one lately, also hope all the birthdays and aniversarys went well.
cyas soon (oh and another thing, my laptop has died, think its the hard drive so may have lost stuff since my last back up :eek:) will have to take to pc dr and see if they can repair, its 3 years old, not sure how long they reckon laptops last?
