    Morning :hello:

I've named the girls (left to right in yesterday's pic) Mogs, Pink, Penny and Harry :D

Not sure what to do today, we've got drizzly rain at the mo. I want to do some non-urgent shopping and gardening but I don't want to get wet  I might potter around the house this morning, bake some cakes then give myself the afternoon off :D Spose I could do the ironing  Nah.

I'm still going through the posts from the last couple of weeks. Tired Mum, no the tru's haven't really changed  But I blew up at them last night, (cept miss tru, she was out and will get her 'hearing' later) and they know I'm at the end of my tether and WILL NOT put up with any more of their rubbish (I want to use a different word but the swear filter blocks it, lol) :D

    Good morning all

Was working til late yesterday so the only OS thing done was to tell OH & DD2 to look in the fridge/freezer for whatever they wanted:p and I had a NSD.

Today will be catch up on washing etc, quick bit of weeding, a hunt for whoopsies in Co-op, then work. Also need to count up Tesco vouchers and see if I've got enough to renew RAC membership. Supper will be a defrosted casserole for whoever is home tonight.

PenPen - I didn't know Tesco did half-price wine deals - will go and look for that one!
Off to update GC now, have a good day:hello:

    morning all!

havent caught up with yesterdays thread yet but will do soon.
Off to work later but a short shift as I've booked some toil for this evening.

Had a call regarding DS2s college work - he is behind on 3 assignments so am popping in to see them tomorrow - am a bit annoyed as they knew he had problems with organisation etc and they waited till he was really behind till they told me so know he's got loads to do to keep up:mad:(he has a mild autistic type disorder)

DS1 and his young man are fine, he's been to meet the other parents and it went well I think.

    OS type things today

washing - hanging it indoors as its supposed to rain
ironing - small amount to do
Dinner - defrosting something from freezer but not sure what yet
have cleaned through the house - just got to get DS2 to do his room

Tru - I've emptied my inbox;) didn't realise it was full

(((hugs))) to all in need, am off for a quick cathc up now on yesterdays thread

    Morning all,
Another 5am wake up, getting fed up on brain switching on when I'm trying to sleep. WM & DW now finished, managed to get all sofa/chair covers dried y/day, just as well as it's raining and gloomy here.
Have to vacume stone walls, I try and do them once a month., and clean downstairs windows and pictures.

Went to Morries at 6pm last night, that's when they mark down stuff, and got enough YS meat to make a beef cobbler and a beef stew with dumplings, well it is like a winters day out there. Must get that done now as I'm having DGD this afternoon, she's still a bit poorly after her jabs and DD2 has survived on very little sleep.
Hope to get some ironing done whilst she's here.
Missing lots of OSers who aren't posting anymore.
BEMUSSED, So sorry to hear of your ongoing sadness.
    SMOKY, ((((((hugs)))))
PENPIN, You really are going through the mill, hopefully the nurse will make you more comfortable today ((((((hugs))))))
    Have a good day all.

    Morning All!
Should have been at the hospital at 9am to see my Nurse, but they rang at 8.30 and said she was ill and they've cancelled her clinic, so I got up early for nothing!

Sistercas- Potatoes are ready when they have flowered, and died back. About six to eight weeks after planting.
Carrots can stay in as long as you want, they just get bigger, so for baby carrots, pull up afer the leaves get to about four inches, otherwise leave them in till you need them.
Beetroots sort of come up near the surface, and you can see how big they are. Pull them when they are the size you want.
    Hope this helps!

PenPin- It made me feel really old when my last baby left school!:o It soon goes doesn't it? He's been through 2 years of College since, and now is going away to Uni! I really feel old now!:rotfl:

Hade the first Jersey pots yeaterday, Yummy! Local sausages too with onion gravy. Got to check today's dinner!

Going for some more acupuncture later. It has really helped with my MS symptoms.

    Have a good day al!

  • hi all:j

DS safely dropped off at school......his one to one has been off sick last 2 days so he has been having a difficult time but she was back today.
WM on and first lot on the line. Waiting for mr T delivery this morning.
Tea tonight is gammon steaks from the farm shop, new pots and veg. DS will have HM cod fingers and mash.
Wanting to do freezer inventory today and do a months meal plans.
Beemuzed sorry for your pain.....hope you got through yesterday ok. I can`t imagine how it must be for you....anything happening to DS is the absolute biggest fear of my life:o..hugs to you.
PP hope the arm is ok and he didnt hit a nerve , as a rule us nurses are better at putting cannulas in than doctors, it seems they don`t get the practice these days.
Taplady sorry to hear they have messed up re your sons work......it really is pathetic as they knew he needed the help...DS is almost 6 and I know that with 4 different disabilities I face a lifetime of fighting with schools...it is very depressing...hope it gets sorted for your DS.

    Morning All
Another nice day here so I found some more washing, we do need some rain though for the garden, both water butts are empty.
I've managed to get a few jobs done this week and after this coffee I am going to paint some garden tubs which my nice neighbour gave to us.
Pen Pen, good luck to your DD for her exams, I'm sure she'll be brilliant. I used to love my Scouting days, I did allsorts from Scout leader to Chairperson.
Hilstep, I've just had 10 sessions of Acupuncture and it has helped, I see the specialist on Friday to see if I can have a different area done. Hope it works for you.
Diva, please send me your address.
Happy wishes to everyone who needs them, hope the poorlies are feeling better.
    Enjoy the day.
