Sorry, my OH decided that as our elderly dog was sleeping peacefully, now would be a good time to clean his eyes and its a two person job!

I don't know how plusnet set up their accounts so if intel has any ideas perhaps he could jump in while I re-check my own settings to work out what is not set up right.

Rush have you ever had email come via Outlook Express or has it always been Webmail.

Will try to help
on your set up screen it says
USER INFORMATION
Where it says YOUR NAME type in the name you want people to see on your emails.
Where it says EMAIL ADDRESS type in the email address plusnet gave you.

LOGON INFORMATION
where it says USER NAME type in your email address.
where it says PASSWORD type in your password.

SERVER INFORMATION
where it says INCOMING MAIL SERVER type in mail.plus.net
where it says OUTGOING MAIL SERVER type in relay.plus.net

Now try to test account settings

I've always had it through hotmail which i use for msn etc, but my usual email is through plusnet, never had it through Outlook and not sure what webmail is ?

I think this might solve the problem http://www.plus.net/support/email/email_settings/setup/outlook_guide.shtml as it has all the settings.

Just follow the same theory we have used but with the settings names on that link.
