    Hi
    I want to buy an ipod hi fi system at Mr T. If I were to pay at main till along with other grocery items can I assume vouchers can be used against total. Obviously I wouldn't have a huge grocery shop but have only used the vouchers against food shopping before so thought I'd check with you oh so knowledgable peeps!
    Thanks :confused:

    I bought a printer in Tesco just before Christmas and used coupons but paid at the normal checkout. The girl on the electrical desk would not accept the coupons so I insisted on taking it to the normal till to pay with the rest of my shopping. She wasn't happy but eventually let me do so and the young SA just took all my coupons with no problem.

    Thanks for this one Judy, I have just printed one. Also whilst doing this I was given the option of printing the Anadin one again, as I have already had this I didn't think it would let me?

    Hills Science Plan http://www.hillspet.co.uk/

    ... further to helpful info posted on the previous thread, I remember registering at the above site in late April.

    20 days later....an email has arrived containing a link to a £4 voucher , valid to 18 July 09 :T

    ...The 'bad' news [in terms of Mr T :D] is that there is no barcode and the voucher is redeemable at Pet Stores and Vet Practices only.

    I know someone who will definitely appreciate this - so many thanks to the original poster :A

    PS...for anyone who hasn't registered, I did see a banner on the Hills site [just now] advertising £5 off next purchase, if you sign up, but it seems to have disappeared :confused:.... hope this is just a cookie thing on my computer. GL all

    Hiya, not been on the site for ages, as I haven't been using coupons for ages :embarasse I know !! lol

    Just been to ASDA where they have REFUSED to sell me 12 boxes of finish quantum stating that the coupon states it can't be used with any other promotional offer ie they're already on offer at £2 per box.

    I said what rubbish as I've been using the for the last 2 weeks. I asked for the name of the manager, the refused to give it me, instead ringing the manager and saying the I wanted to speak to her.

    I told the manager that that was a load of rubbish. She firstly said that I was trying to buy too many ...... I was only having 12 (as that's all that was on the shelf)....I'd had 23 earlier in the day on way home from work, which they had accepted no problem :j

    Then she said that as they were on offer I was stopping other people from taking advantage and she would only let me buy 6 at a time.

    I said that was fine and I'd have 6 in the morning on the way to work.

    :mad: What a flipping pain, I just wanted to get them while they were on the shelf while the offer was still on.

    I didn't know enough about ASDA's policies to argue with her, and I was too tired.

    Well a couple of weeks ago I tried to buy 12 boxes of Huggies but was refused. Supervisor said I was only allowed to buy one so as to leave plenty for other people. What a load of rubbish!!

    I've emailed customer services about it. I've found a statement on the net saying that ASDA doesn't have a general bulk buying policy, instead they leave it up to individual stores.

    I can't complain, as I've got about 3 years worth of dishwasher tablets now, but I just wanted to use as many vouchers as possible while the offer is still on as they've been out of stock for most of the week.

    Slightly off topic but I found a site called The Grocer and it has lots of interesting product info on it.

    Found out its NIW - National Independants Week on 1 to 6 June.

    Hopefully there will be a few coupons about;

    Steve Fox, director of retail at Booker, which is giving away free cans of its Euro Shopper energy drink via the NIW coupon offer in The Sun on May 29

    (from another site; Stock up with the big brands and relevant wholesaler own label products which are being promoted with money off coupons in The Sun and the Liverpool Echo editions of May 29 just ahead of NIW. The brands are Buxton Water (20p off), Monster Munch mega (10p off),Euro Shopper Energy Drink (1 can free) , Ribena 500 ml (30p off), Robinsons Fruit Shoot pmp 65p (20p off) , Carling 4x568 ml (50p off) and Eridge Vale cider 2ltr (£1 off )

    Also look out for this

    Save Tons on Lunch from mid June

    The Save Tons on Lunch campaign will enable consumers to use a code on the wrappers of Warburtons loaves to claim money-off coupons on Birds Eye Fish Fingers, Heinz Snap Pots and Princes canned products

    http://www.thegrocer.co.uk/articles.aspx?page=articles&ID=199733

    Also looks like a code will give us a 50p moc;

    Badger Ales is launching an on-pack competition to win a brand new Land Rover Defender during June and July.

    "The competition, which will be running across all multiple retailers, aims to promote trial and increase purchase across the bottled Badger ale range and to encourage consumers to join the Badger Sett Ale Club.

    "Badger Sett members are the first to know about new products and receive updates about the latest Badger promotions", said Rick Payne, brands marketing manager at brewer Hall & Woodhouse.

    More than two million bottles of Badger ale and cider will carry a special competition code on collarets, which when entered on line could mean lucky winners win a brand new Land Rover Defender.

    Consumers simply need to match 10 'badgers' with their correct 10 kennels in the correct order to win. In addition, each entrant will get 50p off their next purchase of bottled Badger ales and cider.
