Hi all

went to Tesco again today, no problem using the £5 Morrison coupon, except it would not scan and had to be put through manually. BUT the SA would not take any internet coupons at all. She also would only take proper coupons if I had bought the product.

After i queried this she called a supervisor who agreed with her.

Before you ask, yes, the SA was a very old trout (sorry old trout).

The annoying thing is I had selected a different till, with a young male SA and a supervisor told me to move to the next till who was not serving anyone.

Never mind, I will try them again in a day or so

If u think about it Tesco can't afford not to take these coupons at all. It's hard to find papershop with The Sun around here as the offer is so popular, so say 1 million people who usually shop at T's, decide to change there supamarket 4 the offer, with a minimum spend £30 thats £30 million lost a week for Mr T (x 6 weeks).

This figure is way below what they would actually loose as millions must shop a t's every week n spend more than the average £30 on the offer.....

Just been to Telford Tesco - Moeeisons voucher wouldnt scan, supervisor told the cashier to enter it manually, think he put it is as a gift card - no probs here !

Read that it was national vegetarian week, and thought i'd found a coupon. Well i did but only any good if you live anywhere apart from the uk it was for a free burger. Found a coupon to be issued in the year 2000 :rolleyes:

its also national smile week, been to the website, couldnt find any coupons either, sorry
