To be honest, it's the mither that stopped me using coupons, I just got fed up of arguing with check out staff all the time. They act like it's THEIR money sometimes. Thank goodness for self scan at Tesco............no arguing0

Yes, we would all agree with this I think.
But I find it adds to the fun of the shop if a cashier queries my coupons now. On odd occasions, when I have time, I deliberately pick on a well-known trout just to have a laugh as they turn redder and redder with anger but still have to accept my coupons (store policy, the Supervisors - if called - would say my mocs are OK and the trouts know that!).
But re your run-in with Asda, vriley, I have to say I agree with the Store Manager.
It's been pointed out here before, the t&cs on the Finish moc DO exclude the coupon being used in conjuction with any other offer/discount. I think many have been very lucky so far with these in Sainsburys & Asda, but I wouldn't have argued with the manager when he was right.
Finish do know what price stores have their products selling at, and could refuse coupon-redemption on that basis if they choose to. Bearing in mind how many of these mocs have been used & abused, I bet Finish will be looking to wriggle out of paying stores back if they can.
That was one clued-up Manager (or other staff member) who spotted the t&cs and refused it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Well a couple of weeks ago I tried to buy 12 boxes of Huggies but was refused. Supervisor said I was only allowed to buy one so as to leave plenty for other people. What a load of rubbish!!
my daughter and I bought 6 boxes each of the huggies to day from asda, putting huggies vouchers thru as well, plus we had 5 quantum finish each aswell, nobody said a word,so sad how it changes from store to store, wish they'd all get it right,:mad:Live for today, for tomorrow is promised to no-one.
never complain about growing old,far too many people have been denied that privilege.0 -
I posted last week that Asda were finishing the finish this week:mad:, but had hassle at local Asda who would only let me use 6 coupons (shouldn't have tried it cos knew from my favourite sa that I could use as many as wanted was on tomorrow and Thursday and empty shelves with no prob:D) but anyway went to customer service desk and asked again when it ended and was told that the offer was on for another 4 weeks, this is from the manager of the grocery dept. So end or rabbiting on, finish ends next month:j:D
What's for tea tonight please mad and please let me know what herbs and spices I need to buy, cos don't stock.:T
Decided that the trip to the beach shoudl be Blackpool cos can convert clubcard to pleasure beach vouchers:jBe thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

I am sure you will enjoy your break from coupons, but if you still want to do it while you're away, let us know where you're going and perhaps the nice peeps on here will let you know if there is a coupon friendly Tesco in that area?;)“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”:D0
