Survey Stashing: MySurvey hints & tips

They've paid up, after I messaged them again.
I have considered leaving both them and Valued Opinions, after several rejections (wrong age, home region and no children at home), but really like Yougov as they don't bump you off and pay cash.
I hate surveys about cars and finance, especially those wanting details of your assets, which I always ditch.0 -
It was one of these really long surveys which I had problems with that eventually made me give up on My Survey. As others have said, payments take ages to come through, and their customer service is rubbish.
Everyone has different opinions on what is or isn't reasonable, but I think that if you start to feel that a site isn't worth it, always best to ditch it - or even just give it a break, don't respond to their emails at all, but stay a member so you can pick it up again. I used to be on loads of survey sites but am now only on about 5 or 6, because I have set myself a limit to how much my time is worth. There will always be new people willing to sign up th these sites so I honestly don't think they care if their panelists are not happy.
Sorry, rant over :-)0 -
I have completed it and been paid, I have also completed it and had to chase and chase and chase. I never complete it now. What a shame! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I did the National Buyers survey yesterday too and it directed to the error page. I wasn't quite sure of how to report it fully as I didn't have a ticket number but showed the proof of error page and it's showing as under surveys started.
Whether I get my points though I doubt.0 -
My points for this survey were added on Friday, so it might be worth checking your account.0

Did anyone bother to do the follow on survey where you have to add their monitoring software for extra cash? Never keen on these monitoring cookies and didn't bother.0

Just to add to the general disgust and anger at MySurvey, I recently completed a 2-part survey (took 2 hours to complete) worth 1000 points and on submitting I received the lbl_technical error mentioned above (which, btw isn't even a real error - it's an error gone wrong!)
I sent a screen grab to customer support along with a copy-and-pasted survey ID number. After waiting for a reply for a couple of days I chased it up via the ticket ID, plus sent a message via FB and Twitter and eventually got a reply.
Their first response was to tell me I hadn't been invited to that survey (I had - I received an invite via email). Then they told me they had no record of my taking the survey (y'know, the one I just sent a screen grab of...) and finally they told me the survey didn't even exist.
Brilliant. In the meantime I also opened 2 more tickets for small surveys (70 points) that had gone wrong. Their response to these two basically boiled down to "sometimes there are technical problems, sorry".
I would strongly recommend that people avoid MySurvey. I've had these problems ever since I signed up (on probably as many as 50% of surveys). But losing out after spending two hours only to be given the runaround by "customer support" and then fobbed off with lame excuses has finally convinced me it isn't worth the time or hassle.
Can I also request that someone from MSE updates the Survey's article with a strong warning about MySurvey. I'm not noticing any positive comments here.0 -
Quick update that MySurvey's payment threshold is now £5, not £3 as stated in the article. This is equivalent to 575 points.0

Has anyone else who with My survey completed the National Buying Surveys 140 m. long for 1500 points and not been credited with the points?
I completed but in the end it came with some sort of error but when I click to that survey again it says "you already finished the survey". No record in the history.0 -
I think I did one a few months ago when I first started and it took a while for the points to be credited - unlike the normal ones which are instant. Try emailing their helpdesk.0
