Survey Stashing: Valued Opinion hints & tips

I got £80 vouchers from VO last year, and so far this year have cashed in £10 vouchers and am nearly at £10 again.
I was doing the Pampers Mums Opinions ones, and as I cashed out, I had some money left on the account. As Mums Opinions was no longer going to be running, I emailed VO to get my cash transferred from Mums Opinions to my VO account, and they did.0 -
I joined Valued Opinions in September 2008. I have to date collected £90 of vouchers. I usually request John Lewis vouchers, so I can treat myself at the beauty counters or buy birthday/Christmas presents. The Amazon vouchers are also good, as they give you the voucher code immediately, saves waiting for the post. I enjoy using Valued Opinions, some of the surveys are quite time consuming, but to be honest I think it's worth it. Sometimes they do ask you to fill out a questionnaire for 10 minutes and then say that they've had enough responses already, which can be quite frustrating, but as someone previously said, they normally tell you straight away if you qualify or not.
My opinion overall, definitely worth joining.0 -
VP is probably my fave survey site
I have been issued £60 in Amazon vouchers since joining in Sept 09, although it was very quiet at first when I was unemployed
I have over £10 due too, can take a while to be approved but then the E-voucher is instantly redeemable :-)0 -

I have been with Valued Opinions for a couple of months now and have just received my first voucher, with another to follow shortly too. I have recently changed from full-time to part-time employment and am doing what I can to save and boost my income in other ways.
Because I am going to be especially careful with clothes purchasing, I felt a great way of treating myself would be to turn my money earned on VO into Arcadia Group vouchers, and then I can shop at Topshop as a real treat :j The voucher took about 2 weeks to come through and I have no problem with this at all.
The surveys are typically well geared to my own situation/lifestyle and I really believe that the trick here is to fill in all of the additional information about yourself it covers a wide array of life areas including healthcare and medical, sports and leisure activities and telecoms, mobile and internet. They can then target surveys more appropriately to you.
I would gladly recommend this site if you have a few spare minutes in an evening and want to earn yourself some rewards :T0 -
Tonight after logging off from VO, I received the following warning....
valuedopinions.co.uk uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is only valid for valuedopinions.co.uk.
(Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)

I'm already disillusioned with VO and now this has made me quite nervous!
Has anyone else had something like this?0 -
Yes I've had this also just got this when I tried to log in. Seems to be working again now but I'd say they're having problems

Two problems with "paid" surveys.
1. The surveys suddenly cease as the payment target approaches.
2. Many surveys have a pre survey attached, often involving many questions which when answered give rise to the message "you don't fit our criteria"
If you want to avoid being taken for a ride, then avoid so called paid surveys.0 -
I have been with VO for about a year. It took about 6 months to get my first £10, my balance is now £9.25. I have tried for about 30 surveys and every single one has said I don't fit their criteria or they have enough people. Sometimes I have spent 10 mins or so trying. Er - what am I doing wrong? Maybe living in the wilds of Devon doesn't help!:mad::mad:0

they normally have a quota to fill so you need to answer questions the moment it turns up in your inbox.
you could also try lying on some of the answers... 'do you drink beer' answering no isn't likely to get you progressing on the survey and therefore getting paid. thankfully i do drink plenty!!
i've make £10 every month to six weeks, get an amazon voucher immediately then buy DVDs/CDS or other 'treats' i wouldn't normally buy.0
