Survey Stashing: Valued Opinion hints & tips

Ok, well having slept on it, and knowing I am not in any way in breach of contract or dishonest, I have e-mailed them to request payment for the surveys I have done, to be paid to my paypal account.
Ending a contract by giving several reasons which may or may not be the reason my account has been stopped, then not giving me either right to reply, and simply accusing me randomly of dishonesty is not really on.
I'm also going to report them to trading standards. I suggest anyone else affected does as well. I was owed around £15.50 and from what I can see, others were owed money too.
Valued opinion users might like to note that this happened to me after I tried to access a survey using my usual firefox, was told I needed Internet explorer to access it, tried that, then I got blocked. I did point those circumstances out in my first e-mail to them but they just decided to accuse me of dishonesty. Ho Hum.0 -
Guys,
I have experienced the similar thing...
In my case, when I got blocked out, I sent I a simple mail to Isabel to unblock it, I got a nice long reply telling me that their system effectively co$$ed it up!!
Then, couple of days after, got another mail, saying they have blocked because of dishonesty and all that standard reasons.. But, I haven't done anything wrong.. .
So, have sent another mail to get it re-instated... Fingers crossed, they do it right this time...0 -

It took you that long just to get a £10 voucher? Im sorta surprised. Anyway, depends what voucher. I've only ever been ordering amazon vouchers from them and they come as soon as you order it. In fact the code is displayed straight away on the site.0 -
Hello,
Ive been doing Valued Opinions for three months & ive just requested a voucher by post. I had a email saying it takes up to 28 days for delivery, so if its been longer than that I would send them a emailThis Post Has Been Sponsored ByChocolate0 -
Have emailed them and there is a delay with the M & S vouchers. Will be sending out in the next week, it has taken me 2 years and 2months to get to £10 i hardly ever qualify for the surveys and dont bother doing the ones that last longer than 10mins for about 50p. I think i will give up with them now.
Dont like amazon vouchers as i very rarely buy anything from them i have a £16 code that i have had for about 2 months so dont need anymore.0 -
Valued Opinions is an absolute con. You get most of the way thru surveys only to be told youre not eligible. These arent site gliches, stop being so gullible people, theyve already had the info they require and then they get out of paying you for it. Ive also logged in to do a survey minutes after receiving the email to be told the survey is now closed. I cant believe how much time ive wasted on them to no avail. If a company want to market research something, they ask people from all walks of life, not people who only fit into a tight criteria as that will not give them a true reflection of a product. It took me months to earn £5, I complained directly and theyve agreed to send me a £10 voucher, once i receive it I will close my account. Oh and dont bother to email them, they dont respond, I had to phone them. Ive also told Martin to take care when recommending them.0

Well I'm sure we have all had bad experiences with certain companies. It may just be the case that you're demographics are not suited to what they are looking for.
I can say 100% that VO is NOT a scam. I have and continue to do plenty of surveys with them and have had a lot of vouchers from them too!0 -
I was a member of VO for a while and every single survey they sent me I didn't qualify for, so I gave up and resigned from them.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670

I joined VO months ago and have never had emails from them, have checked my junk mail and still nothing. Does anybody have any ideas why I might not be getting anything or should I just email them?Est. debt free day April 2016 (ish) Debt at June 2010 £34,247.13Debt at Dec 2011 £27,499.09 (19.7% paid off)Working together with DH on our debts (twindad07)Long haulers supporters DFW #2560
