Thanks for all the useful feedback so far.

Pinecone used to pay £4; it’s £3 for new customers. I’ve added that it now takes PayPal

Some of the sites mentioned are already in there, eg, OnePoll, GFK and TNS. But we'll investigate the new suggestions, such as Harris. headbox and Song Poll - they sound interesting.

If you disagree with any of the ones not worth bothering with, do say if you’ve had a good or bad experience. Thanks again!

lol...there's no secret handshake or anything, don't worry

I get an email from them every couple of months, sometimes more often. Some of the surveys are just profiling ones, others actually pay out; you can tell from the last four digits of the project number (more details in the FAQ on the site IIRC). Although they're not as frequent as others, the guaranteed payout from each survey is great...no points to collect or thresholds to meet...money landing in your inbox basically :j

should add chooz to the list, not very regular surveys but often £1 surveys (don't bother comps) straight to your paypal after couple of weeks. One i did this morning was estimated 10mins, so really took 5min - not bad for £1 :)

I am a member of most of the survey companies listed I do like completing them, some can be very long, but the rewards are worth it in the end. Toluna takes the longest for you to get anything good, you need 600000 points for a £12.00 voucher.

I think you mean 60,000 points. I have just ordered a £10 Amazon voucher and my last one was a £10 Tesco voucher and both cost me 60,000 points.;)

I've just googled chooz and it came up with a survey site called choozz but it seems like the rewards are more likely to be a chance at an instant win and the surveys are aimed at the under 35 year age.

Oooh, what website did you find that on, if you don't mind me asking
  • I agree with most of the reviews written... Both me and my Mum belong to PineCone (invited separately, which was quite random!) and I'm a member of 80% of the others. Indiefield is great for focus groups, GlobalTestMarket is another good one.

I have to say though, iirc, OpinionWorld doesn't give out rewards, but you can donate to charity after doing each of the surveys. So you don't end up with money or prizes, but you do get to contribute a bit towards the charitty of your choice from a list of three. Not all that bad!

I agree with ToLuna - most of the surveys i get invited to I'm not eligible for, and the homepage is just a mess!

I was a member of a discussion site over Xmas for an alcoholoc spirit brand who gave points that could be redeemed for a number of vouchers. I reckon I made more than £200, spending them at Amazon and Evans clothes shop and Boots, etc. and it was great fun. It's not running anymore, which is a shame, but it was a lot of fun :-)

I've trialled everything from shampoo to yogurt to meal-making kits and it's been great!

    Hi

I would like to try using these survey sites, but at the moment I don't have to fill out a tax return as my company sorts it all out for me. Having to fill out a tax return sounds like a lot of hassle. Will I have to fill out a tax return if I start using these sites?

    Thx Di

    :-)
