  • Hi all,

I have just started completing the on line surveys, does any one have any handy hints to make the most of the same?I am looking to complete the surveys in the evening or at weekends.

Also when is it best to register with the HMRC?

BTW Pinecone sound good but I understand you don't talk about pine cone :-)

Here are some good Paid survey Tips. Personally I'd register for tax once you've earned upwards of 75-100.
  • Thanks for that, much appreciated.

I can't see that anyone else has posted this, but it looks like Pinecone are recruiting over 55s:

    Hope it works!

SurveyFriends is another site where you can give to charities. You don't earn money though but can also win some vouchers and gifts (vouchers easy to win!)
 2014: £20 voucher from SurveyFriends, £10 cash payout from Panel Opinion too and working towards more from Valued Opinions currently.
2013: £35 and £50 vouchers from SurveyFriends! More than £15 made from other paid surveys sites (Yougov, Panel Opinion, Valued Opinions, Pinecone, etc.) Happy so far!

    HMRC

Do you have to declare the income of surveys to HMRC even if you don't fill out a tax return?

If you do have to declare it but dont fill a tax return, how do you go about declaring it?

Is it worthwhile to do, after the taxman has had his share?

    DWP

Are people on incapacity benefit allowed to do these surveys?

They seem an ideal way for getting in a little extra cash, while homebound or unable to work, but I want to make sure I keep it legal and above board with the DWP.
Are you allowed to do these surveys while receiving sickness benefit?
How much are you allowed to earn before the DWP start making deductions?
