I have recieved my first order from them today and suddenly it becomes clearer why some of these are so cheap, and it might be harder for resellers to sell on (oh dear what a shame)

one of the four i ordered and have recieved so far is brand new BUT a rental version in large wording all over the package, the other three state not for rental

(if you are looking on ebay check out the sudden influx of Mr & Mrs Smith brand new ex rental DVDs :rotfl:)

No need to worry to much ive recieved over 40 dvds already all top condition and all proper retail copys.

Lets see a photo of them then if you've got 40 - which I serously doubt as a) nobody on the dvd site I'm on has got 40 and we were onto the sale before anybody else and b) they haven't shipped all the orders yet.

Those people that claim to have bought 5 or 6 copies of a film - how did you order - 1 at a time each with seperate orders or all 5/6 in one order?

As for the rental films - is it brand new? Does it play? If so whats the problem at a price of £2.95? If they are used rental copies then you have a grievance.

I accidently ordered two copies of one film that has apparently had both dispatched - it was a double click on the order page so my fault, but i was going to cancel but realised my dad would love a copy so didnt cancel

as for the rental copy - i wanted to give it to someone but cant really now, it looks brand new, but I havent unwrapped the cellophane yet and checked it - i just would have prefered to know before i ordered that some may be originally destined for the rental market

I think because its in the cellophane still it would be ok to give as a gift. I wouldn't be bothered by it.

I got about 30 orders for DVDs in, have cancelled 3 myself and had about 5 cancelled - but still have stuff in P&P and 1 back order. More than chuffed with what I got as most will be used as presents.

Anyone know if they're gonna have anymore dvd's in the sale, the banners have disappeared off the site but the pages are still there if you have the links.

I managed to get one dvd for my godson for an xmas pressie and am chuffed with that!
It wasnt a rental copy either!!

Looks like the sale might be over keep getting redirected to the offers page. Some Dvds are still available if you can remember what they where and search for them.i.e.jaws 2 and the next best thing.hope I am wrong and they are just updating.
