I think that just because someone 'may' be able to add 6 of a particular item to their basket, that does not mean that they will receive that number. According to Filmnight, they only have a couple of copies available of some titles. Therefore, if you add a lot more then they will just cancel the orders. Also, I think that if they see people buying loads of the same item, then they will probably cancel those orders rather than orders from people who have only purchased 1 of an item - that way they 'annoy' less people.

According to the website, there are still quite a lot of titles available - so nothing to lose by trying to purchase some.......

I dont see why i shouldnt order 6, many friends of mine cant access the internet whenever they want and grab all the bargains that i do, so i get them for them :A , otherwise its people like you who only get great deals.

Two things:

1. You have 5 friends ! seems unlikely from the selfish tone of your post.

2. You 'out of the goodness of your heart' take a chance on your 5 friends not having a DVD of a film they like.

I suppose you can always sell them on eBay !

If your 'friends' dont have time/cant be bothered sitting at a PC and watch the filmnight site load at a snails pace- then I cant see why they should get some and not people actually trying on here.

Its greedy people like yourself that make other people angry and upset at filmnight. Complaining that items in their baksets have just dissapeared or have been put on back order, its because youve just got 6.

Anyway. Hope your 'friends' enjoy them- hell, even want them would be nice!

I would love to access the site this morning to see if any of my products had changed from back order or picking and packing.But no page can be displayed.
Has anyone had a dispach e-mail from yesterday yet?Or recieved goods from earlier in the week?

Well, I received 6 (each different!) DVDs that I ordered earlier in the week (Tuesday/Wednesday).

But all the things I ordered early yesterday morning were showing as back order when I checked my account late, which I think means I won't get them. Quite frustrating as I ordered them aroung 5:30 - 6:00 when the site was quiet (happened to be up early!) and everything was showing as in stock.

I presume I was beaten by some ebayers who ordered lots of each item (appartently it takes a while for stock levels to show the reduction).

I certainly agree that Filmnight should limit the offers to one per household - it will make normal customers much happier!

Anyway, I suppose I should count myself luck that I have actually received some!
