So upset, think I've been done and don't know that I can do anything about it?!

Agree with these so-called fabric guarding systems.
I used to work for a flooring retail company that offered a revolutionary 'CarpetGuard protection system', for any extra £2.38 per square metre on top of the price of the carpet.
In reality, the 'CarpetGuard' was a capful of magic solution in water, then sprayed onto the carpet by a lad in the warehouse. The company used to pay around £20 for a 5litre bottle of this 'magic' solution...
The only proof a customer received was a grand-looking leaflet, with a rosette printed on it, guaranteeing that it had been applied.Profit=sanity
Turnover=vanity
Greed=inhumanity:dance:0 -
Yeah, realise that NOW! Thanks for cheering me up?!!:rolleyes:
Someone was trying to give you useful information and you replied in a very catty and ungreatful manner - honestly, didn't your mother teach you manners? Just because you were conned, doesn't mean that you should be catty and take out your frustration on someone who is trying to be helpful. It's obvious that they were giving you that information about where you can buy the product, so that you could sort it out yourself.
You ought to be ashamed of yourself.If my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!0 -
Would you like a saucer of milk - or would you prefer full fat cream, dear? - Or is it just that you need your dummy picking back up?

Will be going back in the morning to challenge them on this again! But what can I do if they just stick their heels in and claim they have done it?!!
So come on OP, tell the latest on this episode?
You said on Monday that you were going back to the dealer the next day...so what happened?
I really REALLY hate it when someone starts a thread on here, gets loads of advice but then doesn't update the thread with the outcome :mad:0 -
Take it back.
If you don't get anywhere, tell them that you're going to Trading Standards - and then follow it through!"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -

The worst one is the OP that started the thread a month ago about a possible prowler visiting her house when she's out.
None of us even know if she's still alive any more! We all think she may have fallen ill of foul play......"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."

That could be the same for the OP in this thread - maybe they have been 'done in' by the saleman..."Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."
